A22 yr Chapter 22

Ishita POV

My eyes fluttered with the rays of sunlight. I opened my eyes wide and checked myself. I was still laying on the floor in the sitting position whereas I kept my head on the edge of the bed. I noticed I was covered with the sheet.

I stood up from the floor and folded the sheet properly then placed it on the cupboard neatly. I walked out of the room in search of Rithwik. Slowly I took the steps towards the guestroom and peeped inside. I found him sleeping on the bed peacefully. Still, I was unaware of why he was distancing himself from me. He is confusing me with his behavior. Sometimes, he used to be friendly and caring but sometimes he behaves as if I am nothing to him.

I returned to our bedroom and completed my morning chores. As soon as I got dressed, I went to prepare tea for myself as I didn't have dinner last night. While I was sipping the tea, I noticed Rithwik hurriedly going toward our room. I thought he was getting late for the company. So I quickly prepared breakf
