Chapter 7

     The whole room fell silent for a while as everyone was too shocked to speak. After more than thirty seconds of silence, tanya burst out laughing. 

    Her head was thrown back, and her deep dimples made her look more gorgeous. She laughed hard to the point that a few drops of tears fell out of her eyes.

   Lydia, who saw tanya laughing like that, became furious. She knew tanya had always been stubborn but not to the point of her being foolish. The devil actually wants her, but here she is laughing. It seemed she didn't know the complexity of the matter.

  "If i may ask, why do you want tanya?" Lydia asked.

   "Do I need a reason to want her?" Alexander asked back.

   Just as Lydia was about to speak again, tanya spoke, "Do you really want me?" 

  "Yes, I do. Any problem with that?" Alexander replied. 

 "No, I mean, you could have asked for maybe a share in the company, or maybe a car, or a house, or maybe anything else but me. Can you really handle me?" Tanya asked.

   "It doesn't matter what I ask for. I have a hundred folds of your father's property, so all I want is you. I really want to see how fiesty you can be." Alexander said.

  "Master, please, I and my husband are willing to give you anything but tanya. Please request something else." Lydia said.

    "Are you trying to go back on your word? Everyone here heard your husband promising to give me whatever I wanted." Alexander said with a bit of anger evident in his tone.

   "No problem, if you don't want me to have your daughter, how about i have you. At least, you are not useless. I can still have at least ten of my boys have their turns with you." Just as Alexander said that, a made a snap with his hands, and soon, two huge men walked into the room and suddenly grabbed Lydia by her arms.

      "Let her go or else, I'll....." 

 "Or else what, you are going to slap me again? Then let me tell you, if you try that again, I'll have my boys fuck you in the public, and when I mean public, I mean, in the middle of the road. Dare me." Alexander said coldly.

    Lydia's face got more wet as tears streamed down her face. "No, please don't do that, just leave my wife and tanya alone. I'll do whatever you want me to do." Moses pleaded from behind. 

   Tanya stared at her so-called father and smirked. "No need to go far, its me you want, right, then take me. Leave them alone. But don't you dare go back on your word, you must invest in the company. " Tanya said to Alexander, which made everyone shocked.

    'Wow, this girl is really tough. She is actually walking into the lions den herself.' Josh thought to himself.

    "No, tanya, don't. You don't have to go with him." Lydia said.

  "It's okay, clean your tears. As long as he's willing to help us, I'll comply with his request." Tanya said as she got up from her seat. 

    Alexander had an amused look on his face as he wondered where the girl in front of him got her courage from. But one thing he was sure of is that he would make her regret ever making the decision of following him.

  "OK, since the person involved has given her consent, then it's settled. I'll have my later draw up a contract that will both be beneficial for the both of us. And he'll give you any amount you need to help boost up your company. And once again, thanks for your daughter." Alexander said as he walked towards the door.

      As soon as he reached the door, he turned around to face tanya. "Aren't you going to follow me?" He asked.

   "Oh, you are really impatient. Can't you wait for a day or even a week?" Tanya said.

     "No, I don't like my things not being close to me. Now come over here." Alexander commanded.

    Tanya ignored him and turned to look at Lydia, who was still sobbing on the floor. "Stop crying. You look awful when crying." Tanya said. Although her tone was cold, her heart was aching seeing Lydia tears.

   "Tanya, you don't have to go with him. I can go on your behalf. " Lydia said.

  "No, I can't allow you to go. Besides, he can't handle me. You know how stubborn I can be. Nothing will happen to me." Tanya said.

  Lydia then touched Tanya's head as she patted it. "Promise me, nothing will happen to you." She said softly. 

   "I promise." Tanya replied. 

  "I love you, my dear tanya." Lydia said whike tanya just replied with a curt 'hmmm'.

    Tanya then turned to look at her father one more time, without any emotion in her eyes. She said, 'Goodbye.' 

 With that, she turned around and walked towards the smirking devil standing by the door.
