Chapter 3

As soon as they reached to school, they heard the bell ringing. She ran towards the door. She reached the class right before teacher entered. Alright submit your assignment. As soon as all students heard this they started creating ruckus in the class.

“SILENCE!”

“Submit it quietly in my desk and come one by one in my cabin.” Miss moly, their science teacher said this and went to her cabin.

“Thank god I was on time” Babi said while sighing from relief.

“You look hot today. Is it a special day?” Megan said while glancing at Babi.

“Stop it! I was in rush so I wore whatever I got.”

“I am not saying anything. I just said you look hot. You will kill more boys today than usual”

“I already have many things in my mind. So can you stop being a bitch and listen to me?”

“Ok ok tell me”

 “I have already promised Andreu a date and Josh will never let me go there and I have to go for a swimming session today with him. Please help me”

“Come on! He is not even your boyfriend. Why you are so panicked bout it? Just tell him you are going to meet somebody.”

“I don’t want to create any issue. Help me already”

“I will say you are going with me besides I also have to avoid that annoying ass.”

Babi made a face like question mark, “I am not following.”

“Leave it to me don’t worry.”

Then they both headed towards teacher’s cabin when they saw josh coming out form there. He was done with his viva.

“How did it go lover boy?”

“Well same old miss Moly. All she can do is yelling. She asks more then she teaches. Good luck to you guys.”

“Sometimes I feel she had bad sex with her boyfriend that why she is in bad mood and takes it out on us” Megan joked while laughing.

“Ok bye guys m out I have another class.” Josh went while winking towards Babi.

“Why didn’t you say to him now that I am going with you?” Babi asked Megan while pinching her.

“Not now if he asks you don’t have to report to him”

They both went inside the cabin together.

I said one by one. Why are you two together? Megan goes and waits.

“Ok mam” she replied with a sulking face.

After taking Babi’s viva, miss moly had a big smile over her face.

“Astonishing! I knew I can expect best from you” miss moly patted Babi’s back

Babi got up and went out while saying thank you while taking a deep sigh. About after half an hour Megan was also done with her viva.

“Omg! She is too much. Next time I am ditching her all the class. I can’t take her anymore” Megan said with tired face. Till two of afternoon they were done with all their classes.

“Let’s go we are already late. I promised to meet Andreu at four. ”

“Relax babes we are going there. Come on get in now. We will go to my place first. I don’t think you need to change. Just redo your hair.”

Megan’s house was on another street from Babi’s. The town Winslow was beautiful small town with the population of less than ten thousand. So it’s like everybody knows everybody. Megan is the kind of girl who is friends with everybody and everybody knows her she is jolly natured innocent yet naughty girl. She is not into relationships and love at all. She like to en joy her life and her motto is take one step at a time in life who knows what you miss while worrying about future. She is tall black girl with distant features.

They went to Megan’s house. She took Babi directly to her room and after few minutes she got ready and left for venue that he sent to her.  She found him waiting for her.

“Sorry I made you wait.”

“No worries I just reached here. So shall we”

“Where are we going?

One of my Favourite restaurants. It is outside the city so we should be leaving now”

“Okay let’s go”

 She hesitated for a second but she went with him. They reached a restaurant and what she saw she didn’t bunged in front of restaurant but a club.

“Why are we going there? We were going in the restaurant right?” Babi asked anxiously.

“Relax; it’s just a club, besides its still daylight.”

“Ok but I will leave early.”

“Ok”

They went in and sat on the corner table. As usual lightening was very dark and music was loud. They ordered drinks. Babi asked for non-alcoholic ones so they proceeded as such

She was freaking out at first after sometime she relaxed a bit. They started enjoying a bit. He was telling how she likes to play guitar and his was father wants him to pursue business and all that. Babi was just listening with a smile but inside she was getting bored.

“Ok let’s have some tequila shots”

“Noo I am underage”

“Do you see any police? Come on lets have them”

They had Two two shots of tequila and then he pulled her in the dance floor.

“No I don’t want to dance.”

“Get over it.”

They started to dance and after some time he started move his hands fleshly over her thighs and from thighs towards her waist inside her mini dress.

“I am not here for this.” She told him profoundly while removing her hands from her waist.

“Then why you are here? Don’t be drama queen and tell me that you are just because you lost that day in the game.” Then he pulled Babi toward him from her waist.

“Why are you being like this?”

He didn’t listen to her started kissing her. Somebody was watching all this. In no time a flying punch landed over Andreu’s face.

 She thought it was Josh but she was shocked to learn that it was Joshua.

“You touch her again and you are died.”

“Hey calm down little kid and go away you don’t have any business here.” Andreu said while balancing himself once but before he could finish another punch was waiting for him. After that he started beating him. Though Joshua was younger then Andreu but he works out making him bigger than him.

            Babi ran towards him and tried to stop him. “It’s ok he learnt his lesson. Let’s go now.”

“You don’t get to speak. Stay away I don’t want to hurt you” she saw his eyes, they were blood red. He was looking like a beast that won’t stop until one of them dies.  

“I am sorry stop now please! I beg you” Babi went again and held his hand. He looked at her. She was almost on the verge of crying. He couldn’t see her face like this and stopped and immediately pulled her hand and dragged her out of bar.

He passed her helmet and told her to sit from his eyes. He was riding the bike with very high speed.

“What were you doing there in first place?”

“I followed you here.”

Babi was lost of words when she heard that.

                       “Followed me?  Does that even makes sense”

       “……”

“Since when were you following me?”

“……”

“I ASKED YOU SINCE WHEN YOU WERE FOLLOWING ME?”

He speeded up his bike. Babi was clamping in his waist with her hands.

“Since you left with Megan.”

 “WHAT THE HELL? Why would you do that?”

“Because I heard you guys talking.”

“As your sister I am telling you this……” before she could finish, Joshua pulled breaks and stopped the bike. And turned towards her and said

                                                                                   “Don’t say that to me again. You will never be a sister to me. I consider you my……………………….friend.”

“Ok let’s go now”

“You know that she is a class jerk. When will you start understanding people?”

“Don’t tell all this to your brother.”

“As if I talk to him.”

“Can’t you fix things with your brother?”

“We are not doing that thing again.”

                                                                    He dropped her in front of her house and went straight to opposite direction to her house.

JOSHUA POV

When I first met her, I was 7 years old. She was just any other person visiting my home. I didn’t pay attention because she was my brother’s friend and I despise everything that belongs to my brother. Sometimes I feel like I am just furniture who is there in this house and nothing else for my parents. They have eyes for my brother only and he is their only son, their ideal son.

                                                      I am just their mistake who they have to tolerate. Since I have known, I am always compared with him. “Can’t you learn anything from him, see him he is not complaining then why are you? You will get this thing when his is also demolished.” I feel like a trash sometimes, they call me stubborn as if I ask them they will give what I want without creating an issue.
