"Attorney, sino ang suspect sa case mo kahapon?"

Nemesis asked. Still unsured because of my sudden win while forehead creasing. It was my lunch break so I have a 30 minutes time with my employees.

I wiped my mouth with a napkin and smiled at them.

"The witness on the defendants side," sagot ko at nagulat naman sila. "How? Because he said that he sneaked in to victim's room." Pag-explain ko at mas lalo naman gumulo ang mukha nila. "Uh, should I tell it here ba?"

"Yes po Attorney!" Sagot ni Fratum.

I know all their names because as a boss you should have a good relationship with them, your workers. Hindi 'yung bibigyan mo sila nang sandamakmak na paperworks na kahit ata ako ay hindi matatapos ang mga 'yon.

"Okay, let's call the witness from the defendants side Rail. Base on his explanations he was 'concern' to the victim. So pumasok s'ya sa kwarto-" I explained pero I got surprised on what they have said.

"Pwede po bang mag tagalog ka nalang, Attorney? Hot n'yo po kasi pag nagtatagalog sir- ay Attorney pala!" They murmured kaya natawa ako.

Hmm, maybe I should speak tagalog often.

"Lasing si biktim- Lasing ang biktima, kaya may posibilities na magsuka s'ya. No, nasukahan n'ya si Mr. Irezio kaya medyo natagalan s'ya ay dahil hinuhugasan n'ya ang kamay n'ya. So the Rail guy ay sumilip lang, right?" Uminom muna ako ng tubig bago sagutin ang sariling tanong ko. "I also asked the landlord for the CCTV clip that I can use for evidence. I reviewed it and nakita kong napansin ni Rail na lumabas si Mr. Irezio so he took the chance..."

Rail... Liar that's why I take law. Many people suffers because of injustice.

Pagkatapos ng mga kwentuhan ay bumalik na ako sa office ko. What a nightmare I had earlier. Fucking dream.

It was a dream. Who will like me if I reveals my true color? Ang alam nila ay palangiti, mabait, magaling na abogado... at hindi kasama sa mga bahaghari. Who will accept me, then? I'm sure no one. Ako nga na hindi matanggap at dinedeny ko pa sa sarili ko eh... paano pa kaya sila?

Whenever my father asked me I always Equivocate my use of word.

I will also have my new case. For today I will just do was to read and read and find some evidence I can use.

Sa ngayon ay isang CEO ng isang construction company. Nasira daw ang itinatayo nilang structure. He didn't blame anyone based on his opinion. Gusto n'yang malaman ang gumawa dahil maraming construction workers ang nasaktan.

My face turned emotionless.

He stopped writing and suddenly looked at me.

"Where? Fuck!" He turned agressived. It was his Ex-girlfriend whom he look for years. 2 years to be exact.

"Calm yourself, Caiden." Mariin naman n'yang pinikit ang mata n'ya. "She might runaway again."

The girl that captures the fuckers heart. "At the mall." I added before leaving his office. "With her husband and their child." Sambit ko ngunit nasa labas na ako nang office n'ya kaya hindi na n'ya narinig.

Estraya and Caiden broke up when we're 27, nevertheless, Caiden still keeps loving her eachday and everyday. I don't know the reason pero gusto ko malaman.

Nawala ang focus ko sa pagbabasa nang tumunog ang phone ko.

I almost gulped because of the text I received. Not playing by girls feelings but there were no us.

Hindi ko alam kung paano sila naaattached sa akin. Hindi nga ako marunong humarot.

I looked at her annoyed. “What should I say? Hi din?”

She sighed. Bago Hilahin 'yung tie ko.

“W-What are we doing here?”

“You don't like dark place? Then for you to not be scared I'm gonna light you up.” She said before kissing me.

Kakatapos ko lang sa isang fling ko tapos meron nanaman?

"Ah, my back hurts," reklamo ko habang iginagalaw-galaw ang balikat ko.

"Let me massage it, Attorney." I heard someone said.

Tinignan ko si Nemesis. I nodded, letting her. Nemesis was a no flaw girl for me. I liked her as a secretary. Tinatanggal ko ang mga sekretaryang may planong gawin sa akin.

"Yeah, d'yan, ah ang sarap!"

I felt that she smiled.

"Thankyou, Nemesis. You can go now." Pag-paalam ko at lumabas naman s'ya. Napahawak ako sa sentido ko dahil may nararamdaman akong kakaiba sakanya.

I cleared my throat and continued what I am doing.

[Baklush, kasal na kami! Brently x Brian for the win!] Masayang sabi sa akin ng kaibigan kong si Briant... Bria sa kabilang linya.

He was my friend eversince middle school. Ako ang unang nakaalam na lalaki ang panlabas na anyo n'ya pero pusong babae talaga s'ya.

"Stop calling me 'Baklush'!" I said denying it.

I let out a frustrated laugh while removing my tie. I sat down on my gaming chair and let out a cough.

"Hindi nga eh. Hindi ko alam..." pagsasagot ko sa mahinang tono.

I smiled and laughed slightly on what he said. Maybe one day...

After some talks we bid our goodbyes. I also taked a shower before going to bed. Tinanggal ko ang towel na nasa bewang ko at humiga sa kama. I always slept naked dahil ako lang naman mag-isa sa condo ko.

I just covered myself with a comforter because of the cold wind coming from my airconditioner. My room was just simple. Gray walls, shelves with law books and the other one has English and Tagalog novel books.

Before closing my eyes I scrolled down on my social media like I*******m. Briant also posted their wedding picture with his partner having a nightsky view.

I smiled. Eversince highschool Briant always dreamt of getting married with the same sex as him. Nahiwalay lang ako sakanya nung dumating si Trazer. My dad said I should distance myself to him and befriend with Trazer. I dislike that Idea but I secretly hangout with Briant.

Hindi ako nakapunta sa kasal n'ya kasi may trial ako nung isang araw. Sinagot ko nalang ang honeymoon nila sa lugar na gusto nila as a gift.

Morning had come so days too and my trial came. Having my glasses on mine he asked the first witness.

Originally, it wasn't my case to hold. I just helped my co-lawyer who was a Company Lawyer.

"Where did you go after the construction?" Arquette asked the Engineer.

"I went home. I have no work na eh," the girl engineer answered.

"Do you involved yourself there?" Arquette asked again.

Engineer Lorenza went silent before answering.

"I went home after working hou-"

Caiden interrupted her by saying something.

"You will just answer yes or no."

I almost laughed on what he said. He was indeed a beast at court.

"No..." Engineer Lorenza answered.

Pagkatapos ay umalis si Engineer Lorenza at may tumayo naman para pumunta sa witness chair.

"Engineer Gaultier where did you go after your working hours?"
