Nothing she could possibly say would help.
"Your pack killed my mate. SHE'S DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU. OF YOUR PACK! YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE!" His yells echoed in the woods surrounding them. "You..." He whispered. "You are going to pay."
Indianna was too stunned to speak. She was vaguely aware of Greyson putting himself between her and Rogue, but that didn't stop Indianna from staring at her brother who looked ferocious.
His eyes were dark, teeth bared, face red and he was spitting blood when he spoke. "You, little sister, are going to suffer. Your pathetic mate can't protect you. Your pack. No one. You are no different from our parents. I thought I could change you. Make you into a version of yourself that I could be proud of. Oh, how I was wrong."
"J-Jason," Indianna stuttered, her words barely audible. "I didn't want this to happen-"
"I don't want your fake pity!" He roared and Indianna flinched. "I don't want lies! I want revenge!"
*Sugar, you know I will die before I let him get to you.*
Her death didn't scare her, no where near as much of the thought of losing Greyson. She couldn't go through that again. She would sacrifice herself to save him. If Rogue wanted to end her life, he could, if it meant Greyson would live-
But...
She couldn't. She could put her children in harms way. If she died, so did their children and once upon a time Indianna thought that they would never get a chance to meet their father.
She couldn't lose either of them.
*You didn't think that through, did you, sugar?* Greyson's voice was tense, infused with bitterness. He glanced over his shoulder, glaring at Indianna. *Don't ever think about sacrificing yourself for me. Don't you let that fucking thought ever cross your mind again.*
*Greyson... I'm scared.*
He squeezed Indianna's hand with his and then took a step forward, pulling his hand from her reach.
"What are you doing?" Indianna panicked as Greyson took another step closer to Rogue. "Greyson, stop!"
A vice like hold took hold of Indianna, holding her back. She yelled out as Greyson walked closer to Rogue. "No! Stop! Get off me!" Indianna threw her head around and saw that it was Oscar detaining her. He refused to look into her eyes. "Oscar! What are you doing? Greyson!"
"I'm so sorry, Luna," Oscar whispered and he swallowed a lump in this throat, wishing he could disobey Greyson, but he couldn't deny his Alpha. Greyson's voice had been rich in power, even through mind link:
*Keep her back and keep her safe. No matter what happens to me.*
"Oscar!" Indianna begged. "Greyson, listen to me for once in your goddamn life! Please-"
Oscar adjusted his grip. He moved quickly, and Indianna was still slightly disoriented from her head injury, he pinned Indianna's arms behind her back and used his free hand to cover her mouth, muffling her yells.
Indianna fought. She was hysterical, throwing herself around wildly in Oscar's hold- the thought of losing Greyson was one she didn't have to imagine.
*I can't do it again!* She screamed in Greyson's mind. *Don't put me through it again! Don't you fucking dare!*
The muscles in Greyson's back tensed as he heard Indianna's words. *You know I will always love you, sugar-*
*No! Stop it! Greyson, I will never forgive you for this!*
*If I can keep you and our children alive, then I'm willing to accept that.*
*You are not saying goodbye to me! Greyson, just turn around! We can all fight him! Theres one of him, all of us-*
*Look at the trees.*
Indianna frowned, but did as Greyson said. Her eyes flickered over to the woods and she whimpered, seeing Rogue's men surrounding the clearing that the pack house resided in. They were as still as statues, waiting for Rogue's command.
*There's too many of them. We tried to fight him outnumbered before. We know how it ends.*
*But we've turned people! We-*
*Not enough. We thought we had weeks, sugar, but now our time is up.*
Indianna felt the energy leaving her and she sagged in Oscar's hold, tears streaming down her face. *I fucking hate you, Greyson. I hate that you've made me love you.*
Greyson smiled to himself before putting up a block in his mind, cutting himself off from Indianna. He heard her scream out as he did, muffled by Oscar's hand.
He was now in front of Rogue, who was standing still, watching him, unblinking.
"You think you dying can stop this?" Rogue whispered after a few minutes of silence. He laughed manically, the sound was sickening. "Do you think that I give a shit about you? My mate is dead, and there's only one person I want to make pay for that!"
"If you kill her then it's over," Greyson spoke calmly, his voice even and unshaking. "If you kill me, then you will get everything you wanted from this pack. You will get complete control, which is the furthest thing than what you have now. Your control over this pack was false. It was an illusion, and that's because of me. You letting me come back was a mistake, but you can correct that mistake."
Rogue's lip curled menacingly. He was still holding Stacey's lifeless body. "By killing you?"
Greyson took a deep breath, preparing himself and Indianna whimpered. "Yes. By killing me."
"Or I could kill you all. I could make my sister watch as I kill everyone she cares about and then kill her, slowly and painfully."
"And then you would lose this pack," Greyson said. "It would be a waste to kill everyone, when instead you can kill me and everyone would fall in line."
"You would want me to be in control of your pack? Of your mate?" Rogue's eyes darkened, if possible. "Of your children?"
Greyson stiffened. "Of course not. But I want them to live. You know that with me out of the way that there would be nothing getting in your way. Indianna would listen to you. The pack would listen to her. You'd get everything you wanted."
"I will kill you, Greyson," Rogue said, his voice low. "But I will also kill everyone here. And I want my sister to know that it's all her fault."
"Indianna didn't touch Stacey!" Greyson shouted, losing his composure. "She's the only one here that wanted her to live! We've wanted to kill your mate for a long fucking time, Jason." Greyson took a step closer to Rogue, spitting out his true name. "Do you hear that? We were planning on killing her, this feeling that you have, the loss, the agony, the heartbreak, it was going to happen sooner or later, but it was never going to be Indie's fault. It was always going to be mine. So I'm telling you to punish me. Blame me. Kill. Me."
Rogue's hand shot out, latching around Greyson's neck, his claws extending into Greyson's skin. "Is this what you want?" Rogue hissed. "Do you want me to drain the life out of you?"
"Just me," Greyson croaked. "You know it's the smart thing to do. There's no point in slaughtering a whole pack.""You think I care about how many people I have control over? Do you think I care about that when my mate is lying dead in my arms!" Rogue roared. He threw Greyson to the side, kicking him onto the floor. "You will all die! I will kill you all for what you have done. None of you will live to see next week." Rogue looked down at Stacey and brushed her hair away from his face, smiling down at her. "Everything I will do to this pack will be for you, my love," he whispered. "I promise, I will make them suffer." He then walked towards the woods, not looking back at the pack. "If any of them try to leave, break their legs! I want them alive, for now!" Was the last thing Rogue said to his men before he disappeared. The rest of his men remained, but they retreated into the trees, out of sight, still there, but watching. The silence that followed next was deafening. No one said a wo
"If I'd have known that talking to Brooklyn would change your mind then I would have suggested you do that as soon as you started to disagree with me."Indianna scowled at Greyson who smirked at her as she approached him. "Shut up."Greyson reached out and took Indianna's hand, pulling her towards him. "Thank you," he murmured."I'm still annoyed," Indianna grumbled and looked down at her feet, glaring."Hey." Greyson took Indianna's chin and tilted her head up. "Please don't be. You're keeping yourself and our children safe. That's the most important thing. Don't scowl at me, sugar.""You're important."Greyson smiled and kissed Indianna's forehead affectionately. "God, I love you, woman."Karl suddenly yelled from across the room. "They're here! Fucking hell, you took your time, lads! It's not like we're waiting for a psychopath to come and kill us or anything!""You just can't keep your mouth shut, can you?" Harry groaned, but made his way over to where Kal was now standing, over t
"Please don't call yourself that," Indianna said."It's true. I can't be trusted-""Would a monster feel remorse?" Indianna asked, cutting Tai off. "Do you think Rogue feels remorse over his actions?""That is different-""You are not a monster, Tai," Indianna insisted. "You didn't do what you did on purpose. As you said, you lost control. What happened has happened, it can't be taken back. The only thing we can do now is focus on the present. Tai, will you help us now?"It was a few moments before Tai acknowledged that Indianna had spoken. She pursed her lips and gave one sharp nod. "I need to wash this blood off of me," she said and turned on her heel and disappeared into Indianna's room.Indianna made her way to Greyson's room next. DAY ONEIndianna was woken by Kal's snores, they were soft, but she had been struggling to sleep the whole night and now all she could focus on was Kal's heavy breathing. She sighed and turned over, trying to get comfortable which was rather hard with her bump. She was now looking at Greyson as he slept. He seemed so peaceful. His face was so calm and serene, she wished that he didn't have to wake up to the hell they were in.Greyson's eye twitched and Indianna knew that he was no longer asleep. He reached out, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her into his chest, resting his chin on her head and one hand on her stomach. *It's early, sugar, you should be asleep, not perving on me while I sleep.*Indianna chuckled slightly. *Sleep doesn't come easily these days.**Try,* Greyson pleaded. *It's 2am. Indianna forced a smile. "I would never."Greyson chuckled. "Are you not eating any more, sugar?"Indianna stared down at the food on her plate, feeling full. She had taken a lot more food than she could manage to consume. She shook her head.Greyson turned to his sister. "Has she actually eaten a decent breakfast?""Greyson, I've eaten!" Indianna argued.Kirstie rolled her eyes. "Trust your mate, you dick. She ate enough for a whole family.""Great. In that case." Greyson took Indianna's plate from her and sat down between the two girls, tucking into the remains of Indianna's breakfast."We better get organised," Mac said, running his hand along Kirstie's thigh. Hi guys, welcome to the sequel for Shy- Defeated !Hope you enjoy it, and thank you for being patient for this to come out !It will probably not make much sense to begin with, but bare with me and all will be explained in the upcoming chapters. And please, do not moan at me about the events that happen in this book, I have have these planned for a long time and I'm not changing them or writing them just to please readers, what happens in this book has always been my idea and plan since writing the first book. Please respect that because the amount of hate I received on the ending of Shy was disgusting and put me off writing for a while. But, hopefully those people that hated aren't here and it's only the people that liked the ending and want to find out what's going to happen !Thanks for sticking around, and I hope you enjoy it !*Updated 07.01.2022Tai looked up at the mess of a house in front of her and turned to her twin, Raiden, raising her dark eyebrows at him. *Tai spat toothpaste into the sink and looked up at her reflection. She splashed water onto her face and tied her long hair up into a ponytail. Her eyes went to the locket around her neck and she sighed. "Morning, ma. Morning, papa," she whispered, taking her mother's locket into her hand.Tai and Raiden had been brought up in the foster system most of their lives. Up until they were six they lived in Japan with their parents, until their mother died and their father dragged them to America to start a new life, which resulted in a bad car crash that killed him and resulted in Tai and Raiden being shoved into foster care. The locket was the only thing she had of her parents, inside was the only picture of them."Tai, are you ready?"Raiden's yell made Tai jump and she sighed, dropping the locket and walking out of the bathroom and into the hallway where she met Raiden. "Ready," she said and grabbed her purse and phone from the side."I'll drop you off at the supermarket and then pick
Tai woke up in a grouchy mood on Monday morning. She forced herself out of her uncomfortable bed and rushed into the bathroom before Raiden and showered. She walked out in her towel and smiled at Raiden who was waiting outside, towel in hand. "You better be quick, there's not much hot water left," she said and Raiden narrowed his eyes at her."You're mean," he said."So are you for making me go to school!" Tai called and walked back into her room. She dressed in a pair of black jeans and a long-sleeved navy top. She pulled on a pair of combat boots and ran a brush through her hair before plaiting it down her back. Once she was dressed she made her way into the kitchen and grabbed an apple from the side and stuffed it into her bag."Morning," Raiden greeted as he stumbled into the kitchen. His hair was damp and he rubbed his tired eyes as he poured himself a cup of coffee."Morning," Tai nodded. "I'm going to take the bike today.""Be my guest, I don't want to be anywhere near that dea

Another chapter so soon? That's very unlike me.I am really enjoying writing again. I feel like I had such a long phase where I wasn't happy with ANYTHING I was writing and I never had the motivation to sit down and try and write anything, however.... That stage is gone, baby.I'm back, and hopefully, I can continue giving you guys the updates that you have so very patiently waited for!I appreciate every single one of you that still reads this, even though it's been nearly 5 years since I started this sequel... (I feel awful that I've made people wait that long and this isn't even finished)But anywayyyyy, enjoy the update, and I hope there will be another one very soon!*For a moment, Indianna thought Tai had attacked her. She was lying on the floor, her head ringing and vision slightly blurred. All she could smell was the metallic scent of blood and she panicked, her hands going to her stomach, feeling herself rapidly for any injuries. Her hands remained dry, but she didn't relax,
"Why?" Rogue taunted. "Can you feel yourself losing control?""Please, please stop," Ace pleaded with Rogue."But don't you want to hear about how she killed her father?""She did not!" Raiden cried, looking the most alive that he had in days. Tai's eyes filled with tears, but she wasn't upset. She was furious. Indianna noticed a shift in her and she glanced at Greyson worriedly."This girl seems to kill anyone she is close with," Rogue said. "I don't want somebody as dangerous as her around my sister or my niece and nephew, especially since she's hidden the truth from the majority of you. It makes you think, is she hiding any more dirty little secrets?"Tai shot up from her seat, seething with rage."Look at her, she is a dangerous little thing, isn't she?""Why are you doing this?" Ace cried. "You're purposely infuriating her!""She needs to leave," Raiden called, standing up and looking at his sister in concern. "You need to get her out of here.""Ace!" Greyson commanded. "You hear
"Tai," Ace whispered, tugging at Tai's arm. "Stop, please.""It's fine. I like that she's got flare. It's interesting," Rogue smiled. "It's not surprising that she's got a few anger issues. She must have so much built up guilt after everything she's done over the years."Tai gripped her knife and fork tightly, her breathing rate starting to increase. "Stop it."Rogue shrugged his shoulders innocently. "I'm just trying to figure out exactly who you are. I know everything about everyone in this pack, it's only fair I know everything about you too. Especially when you're a killer."Tai's knife and fork clattered onto the table. Everyone turned to stare at her in shock, minus Ace, Raiden, Brandon and Rogue."You brought me to dinner with a girl that has killed someone!" Stacey gasped. "Jason-""Sh, my sweet." Jason turned to Stacey, brushing her hair behind her ear. He smiled at her and it was the only genuine smile that Indianna had seen all evening. "I wouldn't let anyone hurt you."Sta
