Was there any truth to any of it?
Rogue listened as Indianna walked back downstairs, and when she was out of earshot he turned and glared at Iris who laughed.
"You shouldn't have said that," Rogue said slowly, his words lived with venom.
"She make think me crazy, child," Iris chuckled, "but my words will sit in her mind. She will think about what I said."
"She will think that you've gone mad," Rogue said dismissively.
"Oh, I have," she grinned. "But I know things. And now she knows too."
"She is not going to make sense of anything you told her."
"She is smart," Iris smirked. "And he is alive. She will realise."
Rogue raised his eyebrow. "I have no idea what you're talking about, mother."
"Lies!" Iris cried and cackled. "She will destroy you. She will defeat everything you've built."
"Oh, will she? Her and what army?" Rogue said and rolled his eyes. He walked out of the room and slammed the door.
The sound of Iris's laughter followed him down the stairs.

Indianna's mind was elsewhere during dinner. She forced herself to eat the food, but she just wanted to puke it back up. She couldn't stop thinking about what her mother had said.
Was any of it true? Or was she just crazy?
"I know that look," Rogue said, catching Indianna's attention. "I'm trying to get her help."
"Why?" Indianna asked. "You have no love for her."
"I'd much rather her sane than crazy, though, sister," Rogue said.
"She's always saying such weird things," Stacy said and rolled her eyes. "I don't know if she can be helped."
"How long has she been here?" Indianna asked.
"Since your mates death," Rogue shrugged. Indianna stiffened and Rogue raised his eyebrows. "Sorry, is that still a sore subject?"
Indianna gritted her teeth. "Just ever so slightly."
"You'll forget about him soon enough," Stacy smiled and took a sip of wine.
Everyday Indianna remembered him more.
"I don't want too," Indianna said.
Stacy frowned. "Oh, babe, it's much healthier for the mind if you move on. He'd want you to be happy."
Indianna didn't know how she could he truly happy without him.
"So, lets just say hypothetically... if you died, would you want Jason to forget about you?" Indianna asked. The words came out before she could stop them. The way they spoke about Greyson angered her.
Stacy paused, and pouted her lips, looking at Indianna in confusion. "But I'm not dead, why would I be? Nothing will ever happen to me because Jason will protect me."
Indianna forced a smile, ignoring Rogue's look. "Then you're very lucky."
Stacy grinned. "I know! Isn't he just amazing."
Indianna looked down at her plate and ate some more food.
The conversation moved on and soon dinner was over, and Indianna was finally getting ready to leave. She had been here much longer than she wanted too.
"I assume you'll be wanting a ride, sister?" Rogue said, walking up to Indianna as she neared the door.
She had intended to ask him, but she wasn't sure how much more of his presence she could cope with. "Oh no, I was going to walk-"
Rogue grabbed his keys off of the side and opened the front door. "After you," he said.
"No, honestly, it's fine-"
"Car, now," he said sternly and Indianna swallowed and made her way to his car. She sat in the passenger seat and waited for him to join her.
"There were a few comments that I did not appreciate today," Rogue said as he started the car. "But other than that, you were good tonight sister."
Indianna frowned, unsure on how to reply. "Um, okay."
There was a silence and Indianna fiddled with her fingers.
"I can tell you have a burning question, sister," Rogue said suddenly. "Save is a silent journey and ask it."
Indianna did have something she wanted to ask. "Brooke," she said. "Why?"
"What is happening to Brooklyn is nothing to do with me, at least not directly," Rogue said. "I'm working with Ben, and she is a requirement of his conditions, I am merely assisting him in his goals."
"Please, you can stop it-"
"Yes, I can stop it, but then I lose Ben's help, and that is something I don't want to lose," Rogue said. "Don't you worry, I've made sure that Brooklyn has endured much worse than Ben will do to her. He is mainly concerned about harming that miserable mate of hers."
Indianna froze. She couldn't believe the way he spoke out the things he's done.
He had no regret.
"If you could just let her-"
"Let's stop talking about this," Rogue said. "Shall we?"
Indianna bit her lip.
"Let's talk about the two new werewolves," Rogue said. "I have reason to believe one of them is Brandon's mate."
"Yes, we have realised that," Indianna said.
"Do they know about you?" Rogue asked.
Indianna thought of Tai. "No," she lied smoothly.
"Oh really?" Rogue said. "The girl has been seen at your house a few times. You're telling me she knows nothing?"
"Nothing," Indianna confirmed.
"Then why has she been at your house? She doesn't seem the friendliest, not the type to make friends."
"She..." Indianna paused. "Her and Ace are mates. She isn't aware of it, but I'm sure she can feel the bond. She has been with Ace when she has been round."
Rogue nodded, taking in the information. "Okay. When they know about you and your pack, inform me right away."
"Why?" Indianna asked.
"Do I need to tell you everything?" Rogue asked. "Mind your business, sister."
"We're back," Indianna said and had to stop a sigh of relief when she saw the pack house. She hurriedly unclipped her seatbelt. "Er... thank you for the ride."
Rogue nodded once and Indianna scrambled out of the car. "Goodbye, sister."
"Goodbye," Indianna muttered and closed the car door. She was tense until she was inside the pack house and the door was locked behind her.
Indianna took a deep breath and leaned back against the door. It had been a strange evening, and her mind kept going back to her mother. "He's alive" she had said. Indianna's mind went to Greyson, but she knew she was being ridiculous. She couldn't go around dreaming up false hope.
Indianna shook her head and headed towards the stairs. She rubbed the back of neck and gasped as there was suddenly a jolt of pain, similar to pain she had felt before. Indianna yanked her hand back and her eyes widened when she saw scarlet red on her finger tips.
Blood.
Indianna hurried into the bathroom that connected to Greyson's room and grabbed a wad of tissue, pressing it to her neck. She gasped and held her fist to her mouth, trying to stop a yell due to the pain."What the hell," she whispered and checked the tissue that was covered in dots of blood. She continued to wipe her neck until the blood faded and she let out a sigh of relief. She threw the bloody tissue down the toilet and flushed it, hoping no one would catch the scent of her blood. She stretched her neck and winced. It felt extremely sore and she had no idea why."Indianna!" There was a knock at the bedroom door and Indianna rushed out of the bathroom as Harry walked in with Ace, Kal and Kimberly. "You're back, when did you get back?" Kal asked."Just now," Indianna said and took a seat on Greyson's bed. She hugged a pillow close."What happened?" Kimberly asked. She sat next to Indianna."I saw my mum," Indianna said."What?" Ace gasped. "Gosh, is she okay?""She's a lunatic," Ind
Kimberly promised that she would let Kal watch Mean Girls as many damn times he wanted."I'm sorry," Indianna sniffed. "I'm fine, I'm fine.""No, you're not," Kimberly said."I will be," Indianna insisted. "Thank you for being here.""Always," Kimberly shrugged. "You need me now, especially since Brooke isn't here-" Kimberly stopped short. She really did need to think before she spoke. "Crap.""It's fine," Indianna sighed. "I think I'm just going to get some rest."Kimberly nodded. "Okay, if you need anything just shout, yeah?""Will do, thanks, Kim."Kimberly made her way out of the room and Indianna fell back on her bed, gasping when pain shot down her neck."Crap," she whispered and winced as she sat up. She made her way into the bathroom and moved her hair from her neck, using the mirror to look at the back of her neck. Her scar was bright red and swollen. It looked and felt painfully sore. After debating for a few moments, she gritted her teeth and walked out of the room, making
Brooke had left school earlier that day with Alec, but her attention was focused on Harry who was getting into his car. She could feel her body aching for him. Her nerves were tingling at the mere thought of him. Her heart started to race and her head pounded."Brooke," Alex said, watching Brooke cautiously as they made their way to the car. Brooke wasn't aware that Alec had spoken. "Brooklyn!"Brooke blinked and looked at Alec with dreary eyes. "Yes?" She said tiredly."Are you okay?" Alec asked."Do you even care?" Broke groaned."No, but I have too," Alec said. "You don't look too good.""I don't feel too good," Brooke admitted and fumbled with the car door handle."Is it because of Harry? Why would he do this?""He isn't doing anything," Brooke signed and sat in the car. "It's because I'm away from him. This is what happens when pure away from your mate. It gets better the longer you've been mates, but after a while you feel the same." Brooke paused and rubbed her eyes. "I expect
Time passed slowly after the next few weeks.Brooke was kept away from Harry, and Harry ended up being forced to stay at the pack house. After nearly killing Kal because he had gotten in between him and Brooke, Indianna thought it best if Harry wasn't tempted by Brooke, and that meant him staying at home.Brooke did as she was told. She had hope that Indianna and the pack would think of something. Would do something.Indianna was doing something. She was doing absolutely everything that Rogue asked of her. She was attending dinners round his house, hanging around with Stacy at school and keeping him updated about the babies.Rogue was meeting her at the pack house after school. He had something that he wanted her to do.Indianna was sat outside, waiting nervously for Rogue."Luna." Doc approached Indianna and smiled. "Good news, we'll be able to do the X-ray next week. How has the pain been?""The tablets are helping," Indianna said, "but it's still sore.""Hopefully we'll know the re
Indianna was sat at Greyson's desk with plans of the pack house they were going to attack laid out in front of her. She ran her hands across the paper and sighed. She couldn't believe they were going to do this."I'm sorry," she whispered and looked up at the ceiling. "I know this is the wrong thing to do, but I can't think of anything else. I don't want anyone getting hurt. Listening to Rogue seems like the only way that no one is harmed." Indianna groaned and ran her fingers through her hair. "It won't always be like this. I swear I'll think of something." Indianna swallowed. "I have to. I'm not bringing up our children with Rogue in the world.""Indie." Kal knocked on the door and smiled sadly. "The pack is gathered. We're ready to go."Indianna rubbed her eyes and nodded. "Okay," she whispered and stood up from the chair she was sitting on. "Let's get this done." She followed Kal out of the office and they made their way outside to where the majority of the pack were gathered. The
"A conversation is all I need," Indianna said firmly. "Is that really worth the health of your son? I'm sure you've been in contact with him through the pack link. You know he is with my pack warrior. You know my warrior will follow through with our threat." Indianna stopped two meters away from the Alpha, eyeing his pack members warily."You!" The Alpha suddenly gasped. He pointed at Oscar. "What is this? Some sort of revenge!""This has nothing to do with Oscar, however, he is perfectly justified to want revenge against your old fashioned, disgusting views," Indianna said calmly. "Now, I would like to talk with you Alpha. Alone. Please."The Alpha hesitated for a moment before running his fingers through his greying hair and turning around, walking into the house."We'll be in your head the whole time," Oscar said to Indianna. "I'll be right here.""He won't harm me," Indianna said and followed the Alpha into the house. "I am sorry for this," Indianna said once they had reached his
"We are to surrender. Accept our fate. Accept Rogue's control."Indianna sighed and looked at the ground. She hated this.*Bring the son out,* Indianna told Harry. The Alpha looked relieved when Harry emerged from the tree line and pushed the Alpha's son forward."Isn't this fantastic!"Indianna froze when she heard his voice. It never failed to send chills down her spine."Well done, sister," Rogue called and she tensed when she heard him walk up behind her. His arm went over her shoulder. "I wanted a little more drama, but I can't really complain." Rogue stepped away from Indianna and walked up to the Alpha."Rogue," The Alpha growled."It's Jason, Alpha Rednap," Rogue said. "I expect you to be a little more polite from now on, am I clear?"The Alpha nodded."Fantastic," Rogue smiled. There was a sudden yell and one of the pack members ran forward. Charging a Rogue. "Go to hell, Rogue!" He shouted."Oh no, this won't do," Rogue tutted and he grabbed the pack member by the neck, easi
The pack were silent the whole run home. No one knew what to say.Should they have been surprised? It was Rogue after all.Indianna came to a halt outside their pack house and whined quietly. She couldn't wait to shift back, she felt even emptier as a wolf. Indianna let out a deep breath when she felt cool air hitting her bare skin and she stood up, but as she stood she couldn't help the shout that escaped her lips.Indianna's hand flew to her neck and she gasped in pain. She felt blood and something sharp."Indie!" Kal rushed over to Indianna who took deep breaths and groaned in pain. "What is it?""I'm fine!" Indianna panted and she yelled out again when she moved her head. "Shit!" She shouted."I thought your neck wasn't a problem," Harry said accusingly, crossing his arms over his chest and raising an eyebrow."I'll get Doc," Ace said."Harry," Indianna groaned and looked at all the blood on her hands. The pain in her neck grew.*Get the Luna downstairs, now!* Doc's voice was loud
Indianna forced a smile. "I would never."Greyson chuckled. "Are you not eating any more, sugar?"Indianna stared down at the food on her plate, feeling full. She had taken a lot more food than she could manage to consume. She shook her head.Greyson turned to his sister. "Has she actually eaten a decent breakfast?""Greyson, I've eaten!" Indianna argued.Kirstie rolled her eyes. "Trust your mate, you dick. She ate enough for a whole family.""Great. In that case." Greyson took Indianna's plate from her and sat down between the two girls, tucking into the remains of Indianna's breakfast."We better get organised," Mac said, running his hand along Kirstie's thigh. "We gotta a lot of men to get today.""No rest for the wicked," Kirstie sighed and jumped up from the floor. "Let's go tear down Rogue's empire, lover."Mac chuckled and let Kirstie pull him up from the floor. "Let's do this.""You know," Oscar said, furrowing his eyebrows as he stood up with Kirstie and Max , "you'd think th
DAY ONEIndianna was woken by Kal's snores, they were soft, but she had been struggling to sleep the whole night and now all she could focus on was Kal's heavy breathing. She sighed and turned over, trying to get comfortable which was rather hard with her bump. She was now looking at Greyson as he slept. He seemed so peaceful. His face was so calm and serene, she wished that he didn't have to wake up to the hell they were in.Greyson's eye twitched and Indianna knew that he was no longer asleep. He reached out, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her into his chest, resting his chin on her head and one hand on her stomach. *It's early, sugar, you should be asleep, not perving on me while I sleep.*Indianna chuckled slightly. *Sleep doesn't come easily these days.**Try,* Greyson pleaded. *It's 2am. You need your rest.**So do you.**I'm fine. I'm swapping watch duty with Oscar soon anyway.*The rest of the previous day was spent waiting anxiously for Oscar, Kirstie and Mac to ret
"Please don't call yourself that," Indianna said."It's true. I can't be trusted-""Would a monster feel remorse?" Indianna asked, cutting Tai off. "Do you think Rogue feels remorse over his actions?""That is different-""You are not a monster, Tai," Indianna insisted. "You didn't do what you did on purpose. As you said, you lost control. What happened has happened, it can't be taken back. The only thing we can do now is focus on the present. Tai, will you help us now?"It was a few moments before Tai acknowledged that Indianna had spoken. She pursed her lips and gave one sharp nod. "I need to wash this blood off of me," she said and turned on her heel and disappeared into Indianna's room.Indianna made her way to Greyson's room next. The scent of him surrounded her when she entered and she closed her eyes, caressing her bump. She didn't want to go without him. Indianna swallowed the lump in her throat and changed out of the clothes she had been wearing for dinner. Once she was in sw
"If I'd have known that talking to Brooklyn would change your mind then I would have suggested you do that as soon as you started to disagree with me."Indianna scowled at Greyson who smirked at her as she approached him. "Shut up."Greyson reached out and took Indianna's hand, pulling her towards him. "Thank you," he murmured."I'm still annoyed," Indianna grumbled and looked down at her feet, glaring."Hey." Greyson took Indianna's chin and tilted her head up. "Please don't be. You're keeping yourself and our children safe. That's the most important thing. Don't scowl at me, sugar.""You're important."Greyson smiled and kissed Indianna's forehead affectionately. "God, I love you, woman."Karl suddenly yelled from across the room. "They're here! Fucking hell, you took your time, lads! It's not like we're waiting for a psychopath to come and kill us or anything!""You just can't keep your mouth shut, can you?" Harry groaned, but made his way over to where Kal was now standing, over t
"Just me," Greyson croaked. "You know it's the smart thing to do. There's no point in slaughtering a whole pack.""You think I care about how many people I have control over? Do you think I care about that when my mate is lying dead in my arms!" Rogue roared. He threw Greyson to the side, kicking him onto the floor. "You will all die! I will kill you all for what you have done. None of you will live to see next week." Rogue looked down at Stacey and brushed her hair away from his face, smiling down at her. "Everything I will do to this pack will be for you, my love," he whispered. "I promise, I will make them suffer." He then walked towards the woods, not looking back at the pack. "If any of them try to leave, break their legs! I want them alive, for now!" Was the last thing Rogue said to his men before he disappeared. The rest of his men remained, but they retreated into the trees, out of sight, still there, but watching. The silence that followed next was deafening. No one said a wo
Nothing she could possibly say would help."Your pack killed my mate. SHE'S DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU. OF YOUR PACK! YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE!" His yells echoed in the woods surrounding them. "You..." He whispered. "You are going to pay."Indianna was too stunned to speak. She was vaguely aware of Greyson putting himself between her and Rogue, but that didn't stop Indianna from staring at her brother who looked ferocious. His eyes were dark, teeth bared, face red and he was spitting blood when he spoke. "You, little sister, are going to suffer. Your pathetic mate can't protect you. Your pack. No one. You are no different from our parents. I thought I could change you. Make you into a version of yourself that I could be proud of. Oh, how I was wrong.""J-Jason," Indianna stuttered, her words barely audible. "I didn't want this to happen-""I don't want your fake pity!" He roared and Indianna flinched. "I don't want lies! I want revenge!"*Sugar, you know I will die before I let him get to you.*H
Another chapter so soon? That's very unlike me.I am really enjoying writing again. I feel like I had such a long phase where I wasn't happy with ANYTHING I was writing and I never had the motivation to sit down and try and write anything, however.... That stage is gone, baby.I'm back, and hopefully, I can continue giving you guys the updates that you have so very patiently waited for!I appreciate every single one of you that still reads this, even though it's been nearly 5 years since I started this sequel... (I feel awful that I've made people wait that long and this isn't even finished)But anywayyyyy, enjoy the update, and I hope there will be another one very soon!*For a moment, Indianna thought Tai had attacked her. She was lying on the floor, her head ringing and vision slightly blurred. All she could smell was the metallic scent of blood and she panicked, her hands going to her stomach, feeling herself rapidly for any injuries. Her hands remained dry, but she didn't relax,
"Why?" Rogue taunted. "Can you feel yourself losing control?""Please, please stop," Ace pleaded with Rogue."But don't you want to hear about how she killed her father?""She did not!" Raiden cried, looking the most alive that he had in days. Tai's eyes filled with tears, but she wasn't upset. She was furious. Indianna noticed a shift in her and she glanced at Greyson worriedly."This girl seems to kill anyone she is close with," Rogue said. "I don't want somebody as dangerous as her around my sister or my niece and nephew, especially since she's hidden the truth from the majority of you. It makes you think, is she hiding any more dirty little secrets?"Tai shot up from her seat, seething with rage."Look at her, she is a dangerous little thing, isn't she?""Why are you doing this?" Ace cried. "You're purposely infuriating her!""She needs to leave," Raiden called, standing up and looking at his sister in concern. "You need to get her out of here.""Ace!" Greyson commanded. "You hear
"Tai," Ace whispered, tugging at Tai's arm. "Stop, please.""It's fine. I like that she's got flare. It's interesting," Rogue smiled. "It's not surprising that she's got a few anger issues. She must have so much built up guilt after everything she's done over the years."Tai gripped her knife and fork tightly, her breathing rate starting to increase. "Stop it."Rogue shrugged his shoulders innocently. "I'm just trying to figure out exactly who you are. I know everything about everyone in this pack, it's only fair I know everything about you too. Especially when you're a killer."Tai's knife and fork clattered onto the table. Everyone turned to stare at her in shock, minus Ace, Raiden, Brandon and Rogue."You brought me to dinner with a girl that has killed someone!" Stacey gasped. "Jason-""Sh, my sweet." Jason turned to Stacey, brushing her hair behind her ear. He smiled at her and it was the only genuine smile that Indianna had seen all evening. "I wouldn't let anyone hurt you."Sta
