There was no way possible this man had just thrown her out of his house, Shola thought. What even was her crime? She wondered. Solano, in his fit, had asked his driver to take her out of his property and to anywhere else she wanted to go to. Shola knew what eve r was happening had to have a bigger meaning. The had to be more to just her walking into his late wife’s room for this man to just shoot her into te streets.

As she sat inside his car, silently wondering what next to do with herself, it dawned on her for the first time that she had no idea about her life. She didn’t know where her passport was, what kind of visa she had or even the validity of it. She had blindly trusted Solano had her best interest at heart and left everything that represented her identity in a foreign country to him. Now how was she supposed to figure out things for herself when she had no idea what was even at stake.
