Funke, Arewa, and I sang along to Kizz Daniel and Tecno’s song ‘Buga’ playing from the radio in Arewa's car as he drove us to Abeokuta for our convocation.

We all studied at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, and finished very well. We had decided to stay in my family house here in Abeokuta near the school so we could be early for the convocation because the road would be blocked with traffic.

"Óyá, we are in Abeokuta, let's go and enjoy ourselves before tomorrow. It's still early" Arewa suggested, and I grinned. I checked the time and saw that it was still 1 pm, which meant we had enough time to go wherever we wanted to.

"Let's go to Obasanjo's library," I clapped my hands in excitement.
