Chapter 240

Jennifer kept her gaze fixed on Raymond. She was attempting to decipher the meaning of his facial expression. His face turned fiercer, as if something really had happened in his pack.

She was curious to learn what had happened that had caused him to appear so worried.

'Is everyone okay there? What about the ladies in the pack house? Are they okay?' She thought about them and felt concerned for them.

"I'm coming back." Raymond said and cut off the call.

He looked at Jennifer. She cleared her throat and asked,

"Is everything okay?"

"Why do you care? Didn't you just ask for a divorce?" He asked. His tone was cold.

"Raymond Scott, don't take out your frustration on me. I don't know what has happened in your pack, but I am not here to take your aggression."

He stepped toward her. She was taken aback. She stepped backward. But he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her to him. He spoke to her while staring deeply into her eyes and said,

i understand why he doesn't tell her about Florence. Because she will never believe him. She has to remember herself about that night and probably she will understand when she sees Raymond's wolf.

The worst thing is that he doesn't tell her the truth about Florence, that she is a witch from that pack and that she will possibly come again to try to harm her! that Keith knows all this and was a participant in everything!
