Jennifer stared at Raymond's face. He looked so calm and innocent when his eyes were closed. But she knew how he was.

She looked away from him and turned her attention to the window. She wanted to push his head away from her shoulder. But there was something that prevented her from doing so.

She stared outside while watching the changing landscape.

She could not believe where life was taking her. The man who she was escaping from was now sitting next to her while leaning his head on her shoulder.

Wasn't he the most dangerous man in the world? How could she feel safe around him?

The bus stopped close to the area of her house. She stood up, and Raymond's head moved harshly. He raised his head and saw her getting out of the bus. His eyes showed signs of drowsiness. He fell asleep when he leaned towards her as if she were his safe place.
