Aurora's POV

The sharp, twisting pain shot through my lower abdomen like a dagger. My hand instinctively cradled my stomach as I leaned against the kitchen counter, my breaths coming in short, shaky bursts. Fear gripped me as the pain intensified, leaving me momentarily paralyzed.

“Dominic!” I called out, my voice weak and trembling.

Within seconds, Dominic was by my side, his face etched with worry. “Aurora, what’s wrong? Tell me!”

“It’s my stomach,” I gasped, clutching his arm for support. “Something’s wrong, Dominic. It hurts so much.”

Without hesitation, he scooped me up into his arms and carried me to the couch, laying me down gently. “Stay here. I’m calling the doctor right now,” he said, his voice firm but laced with panic.

I watched as he grabbed his phone and made the call, pacing the room like a caged lion. “Doctor Carter, I need you at my house immediately. Aurora’s stomach is in pain. Get here now!”

I tried to steady my breathing, but the pain was relentless. Dominic knelt

Isabella’s POVI sat in the small, dimly lit apartment I’d rented, swirling the wine in my glass with a sly smile playing on my lips. The satisfaction coursing through me was euphoric. Soon, very soon, I would hear the news. I'd been eagerly waiting for, the perfect reward for all my efforts.Aurora had to pay for taking everything from me. I could still see her smug face, her innocent act as if she hadn’t stolen Dominic’s attention, his heart, and the life that should have been mine. But now, she’d know what it felt like to lose. The poison… it was genius. Administered in such small doses over time, Aurora wouldn’t even suspect it until it was too late. And the baby? Well, that was just collateral damage in my war against her.A dark chuckle escaped my lips as I thought back to my last days at Dominic’s house. The way I’d moved around, smiling sweetly, playing the part of the innocent victim who’d just been "misunderstood." Dominic had no clue what I’d done, and neither did she.I ha
