NAVIER’S POINT OF VIEW
“How’s the end of your vacation, young Navier?”
I rarely got chills but I have them now and not for the best reasons. I should have listened to my guts and never answered this call. Only if I knew better, but no. I still did despite knowing that this is highly likely to happen.
Cursing under my breath, I did my best to compose myself and
CHAPTER SEVEN: ALL FOR YOU (1) ♤ ♤ ♤ ♤ ♤ ♤ ♤ ♤ ♤ ♤ SOPHIA’S POINT OF VIEW It has been almost a week since Navier brought me to the Sy Mansion, toured me around, and introduced his people to me; not to mention everything else that happened that neither Navier nor I wanted to experience in my first time being there. It has been a week and it is as if I did not just meet the other side of my boyfriend. By saying I met his other side, I realized now that the more appropriate word is “having a glimpse of who Navier is outside his normal corporate world”. If I am being completely honest, the week that has easily gone by was not enough for me to sink everything in. It sounded so simple, I know, that I just have to accept that Navier, the man that I love, is not completely th
CHAPTER EIGHT: ALL FOR YOU (2) ♤ ♤ ♤ ♤ ♤ ♤ ♤ ♤ ♤ ♤ SOPHIA’S POINT OF VIEW There was this passage from a book I once read and, opposed to what I usually read which are romance novels, this book was all about the unrealistic expectations and views on love and to our romantic partners. Standards built from fantasies that can actually be harmful. I do not doubt it. Expectations can bring disappointments. Disappointments can be harmful if not communicated well enough. The passage, though not as exact, goes like this, “you cannot expect for your loved one to always be equal to what you can give. The scale is not fifty-fifty all the time, in fact, it is likely more imbalanced most of the time.
CHAPTER NINE: ALL FOR YOU (3) ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ NICOLE’S POINT OF VIEW Should I ask for Navier to drive for me? Definitely. Should I call for Sophia first? Definitely. Should I… No. Just the mere thought of Sage is definitely an instant “no”. There is just too much that I want—need—to do that I remained immobile in my seat, just staring at my office’s ceiling. In my defense, I just got out of a very long meeting which almost killed me or maybe almost made me kill someone. But that is still just a lame excuse. I should ge
CHAPTER TEN: ALL FOR YOU (4)[IMPORTANT NOTICE: Point of views in this story may vary from now on. It can either go to third person POV or back to first person. Indications are still included.]♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡FLASHBACKThey were in fourth year high school, Nicole and Sage. They were graduating in just a few weeks when Nicole finally had awakened the side of her that should not have never been awakened in the first place. A side that she does not know if she particularly likes or not. “Torn” could not even cover up the whole package of emotions that she needed to unbox. Does she really hate that she realized this? Or she does not?Sage has always b
CHAPTER ELEVEN: ALL FOR YOU (5)♤ ♤ ♤ ♤ ♤ ♤ ♤ ♤ ♤ ♤Out of all the people that Sophia will meet today, Nicole is the most unexpected one and the one who is most thankful for because she just realized how much she missed her! Will it be considered overreacting when it was only almost two weeks since she last saw her in person and she misses her already? Overreacting or not, she really missed her!To her surprise though, Nicole did not come with anyone. Her driver is not even present which confused her a little because, as far as she knows, the young lady boss is not really into driving her own; hence the need for her driver with her all the time.“Oh, don’t even ask, my love, because I don’t really know where to st
CHAPTER TWELVE: NEVER BEEN STRANGERS, MORE THAN FRIENDS (1) ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ FLASHBACK First week of being in first year college makes Nicole realize a lot of stuff. The first one that happens to be on the top of her very long list of realizations is that she is smart. Well, it was already given, and she also happens to know that since the beginning. The realization does not really point to her being smart—it is proving how lazy she can be. Name it. From reading her materials, to participating in discussions, to literally just doing anything
CHAPTER THIRTEEN: NEVER BEEN STRANGERS, MORE THAN FRIENDS (2) ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ FLASHBACK Nicole could not control herself. She must be losing her mind—or maybe, even more possible, she is dreaming. But this is neither. She is not losing her mind, nor she is not dreaming. Looking at how she is with Sage right now, this is far from both. This is their reality and reality never tasted this good. She just knows that Sage’s lips will taste good. But she fully knows that she cannot have this reality that easily. Seeing how Sage controls herself, she knows that this man will put up a fight with himself to never lose control. She wanted to laugh. This man is just too righteous for her evil plans. She is
CHAPTER FOURTEEN: NEVER BEEN STRANGERS, MORE THAN FRIENDS (3) ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ Nicole lets out a deep breath after getting inside her apartment unit and plopping herself down her sofa. If this was a better day, she would have asked Navier to come home with her in the main house to their mother; but both of them are in really shitty condition. Just like how her conversation with Sophia went, she understands that Navier most likely needs to be alone for a while to gather himself from everything that happened. Thinking about it, she smiles proudly just by imagining how Navier acted. She can never justify the need for drugging someone, but damn it, that is not the point here. She is proud because his actions were the same as their mother’s young recklessness. It makes her happy to know that
