CHAPTER 6

I got on the computer and I started looking at these towns and started researching them to see if they have anything in common. But all I can see is that they have small sheriff’s stations with only a few officers in charge of the whole town. And they are only small towns. Something that a small army of vampires wouldn’t be able to handle. Especially if they have been compelled to do what the vampires tell them to.

Humans don’t even know that vampires exist. Which means they don’t know how to protect themselves against being compelled and all other ways that vampires can control them.

They can get inside their heads if they want to. And that’s what was bugging me the most. That these humans have absolutely no idea how to protect themselves because we aren’t allowed to tell them that vampires exist. Even though the government knows. And they are the ones that I was really pissed at. They should be warning people. Instead, they’re sitting on their asses doing nothing.
