My name is Elora and I reside at the Blue Mountain Packhouse. I have a slim figure, long curly blonde hair which I usually wear up in a bun so it is out of my face. My eyes are a deep blue which I love. I am not a normal girl though. You see I am a shewolf, my rank at the packhouse is an omega. I don’t know my parents because they passed away when I was just a tiny baby, so I don’t have any memories of them. The only thing I have is a necklace locket from my mother. I have never taken it off because it makes me feel close to her spirit.

After having completed all my chores, it was time for a shower and bed. I would have to be up at four am along with the other omegas, to begin breakfast for the pack members.

We weren’t treated to badly here at Blue Mountain Pack, but our Alpha Isaac was extremely strict. We had to follow all rules without any exceptions. Most of the omegas were allowed to train and shift along with the higher pack members but Alpha Issac did not allow me that luxury.

He never gave me a reason for this and I did not dare to question him. Of course I wondered why I couldn’t join but on the very few occasions that I had been permitted to shift into my wolf, Alpha Issac had become very uncomfortable and banned me from showing my wolf to anyone.

The urge to shift and wander into the night was becoming unbearable and I knew it would be a huge risk if caught, but I couldn’t deny the urge was becoming stronger every night. Tonight was different, I knew deep down that I should not have left the pack house on my own, but something was calling me to the forest. I needed to find out what it was. Before I could stop myself, I was standing in the middle of a clearing. I knew I was still on my territory but something felt very offish. I got a horrible feeling run up and down my spine.

Alpha Isaac was going to go crazy when he found out I had up and left. He made his rules very clear and anyone found to be disobeying them would be punished appropriately.

But the last few days had felt awfully strange, like something was calling out to me. My wolf wanted to run off into the woods and find out for certain. It wasn't like I could just up and go especially after I had been protected and kept watch of my entire life. However, I wouldn't be long, just long enough to find out what was leading me to the forest. If I were lucky and back in time then perhaps Alpha Issac and the rest of the packhouse would never know I had even left.

I kept running as fast as I could, not wanting to look over my shoulder or stop in case anyone was going to come after me, or worse those filthy rogues.

"STOP!" boomed an unfamiliar but very angry tone somewhere to my left. Coming to a halt, I instantly froze to the spot. Tears were threatening to flood as I held my breath. Hoping that whoever was there would not hurt me in any way.

"Where are you going?" someone stepped forward from the bushes and violently grabbed a huge chunk of my long curly hair. Forcing me on my knees, he threw me down to the ground so my face fell into a puddle of leaves and sticks and goodness knows what else.

"I.. I'm sorry ..!" was all I managed to stutter.

Pulling me up by my arm I shrieked out loudly in pain. The man then swung his arm up as if about to slap me, then he stopped and just stared at my neck.

"Where did you get that from?" he growled. Instantly I felt for my locket and swallowed nervously.

          "It's from my mother."

The man scoffed and pushed me against the tree by the scruff of the neck.

          "You are lying."

          "No. I promise..!"

We were interrupted by a loud growling from behind.

I moved my eyes to the direction it came from and gasped. The strong stench of Coffee and walnut whirls overwhelmed me and I knew it was him straight away.

          My mate.

" Alpha Ben,  this rogue was caught here in your territory. What shall I do with her?"

“What do you think you are doing! Get your hands off her!”

I watched in awe as he grabbed the man and threw him across the clearing straight into a tree. Knocking him straight out.

"MINE!" I heard his voice boom.

"Mate!" I whispered as my mouth fell open in shock. His eyes were deep blue colour while his muscular body screamed out authority. I wanted to go to him at once but something stopped me.

"What are you doing out here all alone. You should be protected. It is a dam good thing I found you before you fell into some real danger." He exclaimed reaching out to me. Taking a deep breath I opened my mouth to speak when I felt a strange stinging sensation in my left shoulder.

"Wait.. what was that? What have you done to me?" I was scared and unable to move from the spot. My legs instantly collapsed causing me to end up in a heap on the forest ground.

"No!" I heard someone scream but then

          everything around me went dark.

"Alpha she is awake." I heard an unfamiliar but soft female voice say as my eyes fluttered open. Everything was blurry around me but I could just make out a few figures huddled around me. Where was I and who were these people? "Hello my dear. My name is Doctor Abbey and I am going to be looking after you. You have had a very nasty fall but I assure you that you will be fine after some rest." I felt the persons hand touch the top of mine as if she were trying to reassure me. I realised I was crying. I had no idea who these people around me were or how I had gotten there. "Alpha Isacc." I called out panicking as I looked around me and didn't recognise any of the eyes staring back at me. "Alpha Isacc please help me!" I yelled louder this time causing the doctor to frown. A figure entered the room and I immediately felt my heart go crazy and my body tingled. He looked straight at me before coming to my bedside. Without a word he picked up my hand and took it

"Please don't leave me." Tears running down my cheeks as I ran after the figure that was quickly out of my sight. My little legs helpless to catch up. The darkness scared me, I hugged my bear bear tightly and squeezed my eyes shut. "Elora. Elora. Are you ok my dear." I woke to someone shaking the shit out of me. Sitting up in the strange bed and taking in my surroundings. I must have had that dream again. They were getting pretty frequent now. They never made any sense. The person leaving me was a blur. I had no idea who or where it was. People told me it was just a dream but it was always the same. Feeling a little embarrassed at the hunk standing over me with such concern, I hid my face childishly under the soft white pillows. Groaning out loud and wishing I was not in this situation. "Shh my sweet baby, you're safe now." He pulled me into his chest and kissed my forehead. I closed my eyes and breathed in his strong aroma. Was I still dreaming. Thoug

The hungry looking rogues circled us, smacking their lips together and growling. Rachel pulled me into her and let out a kick to one of the rogues. She was a great fighter while I just stood their like a useless idiot. Picking up a long stick beside me I poked one of the rogues in the eye making him yell out in pain. Buying myself a few more minutes to think, I found myself wishing I could reach Ben by mindlink. "We're coming. Don't worry." His voice filled my mind and I squeaked in response. How the hell did that happen? Having no time to process these sudden unexpected mind link powers, I ran and jumped as high as I could muster, at the nearest tree. Clinging onto a branch with all my strength I managed to climb up on it before the rogue beneath me attempted to pull me down. Seconds later the rogue was shot dead by someone in the bushes opposite. I screamed in panic but then out jumped Ben and Daniel in their wolf forms along with a few of the warriors

"Gina." I heard the Alpha yell the minute we entered the pack house. I was exhausted and a little confused why he was calling out to another female. Picking me up bridal style he carried me up the stair case to our bedroom. "Now you need to rest my beautiful Luna. Please listen to me when I say you must not leave this room until I say." he ordered me and I nodded in response. My eyelids were heavy and I couldn't stop yawning. Smiling as my alpha mate carefully tucked me into the huge king-size bed. The freshly made bed of satin sheets and cover was so deliciously comfortable, I could just sleep in it forever. A knock at the door made my alpha spin around in anger, he did not like to be disturbed.Upon opening the door I caught a glimpse of the omgea girl who had been cold and unwelcoming to me. She looked afraid as the alpha towered over her, whispering something quietly that I could not quite catch. I suddenly felt bad for her, assuming that he was giving her a tel

I could not stop thinking about that necklace and how this girl has come to get it. She wore it as if her life depended on it. I did not see her the next morning and nobody seemed to want to explain her whereabouts to me which was actually really irritating me. I guessed that the alpha had something to do with her sudden disappearance and it did not make me feel any better at all. It was as if they were all hiding some big secret from me and I was going to find out what it was. " Would you like some breakfast dear Luna?" The beta came strolling across the hall and linked my arm as if trying to lead me away from the corridor that led to yet another row of rooms. I wondered if they were hiding her in there. "Where is that girl. Gina?" I demanded to know pulling myself away from the beta. He looked shocked at my outburst. "Luna please do not worry yourself with a worthless omega slave. It was really late by the time Ben finally made an appearance in the pack house and I was really bored of being ignored by all these pack members. Nobody wanted to talk to me so I spent most of my time in the bedroom sitting on the bed wondering what the hell I had gotten myself into. I couldn’t exactly escape when his stupid beta had insisted on having guards scattered around the place to prevent me leaving. I was being held prisoner for not wanting to listen to some stupid rules. What I needed was to get back home and find out the truth because nothing made any sense. The beta and his sister kept checking on me throughout the day as if afraid I would do something stupid. But nobody wanted to tell me anything about Gina or that necklace. “I’m so sorry I was out a long time.” The alpha exclaimed the second he entered the huge bedroom. I looked up at him glumly not wanting to waste another moment of my time on his nonsense. He stared at my bags and back at me with a q

How my men had been unable to find the silly shewolf was beyond me. She was a fool for leaving the packhouse. She could have been caught and killed by rogues for all I knew. I had my men out around the clock searching for her but not a clue. It was as if she had never existed. “Stupid girl.” I banged my fist down onto the table spilling my warm mug of coffee over some papers. I cursed under my breath as the door flew open to reveal my beta. He looked exhausted from stress. I was probably no better with my lack of sleep finally caving in on me. This she wolf had a lot to answer for. “We cannot find her.” He sighed glumly swinging around in the leather office chair. I sat back in my own chair and stroked my chin thoughtfully. “Perhaps she is at another pack. Maybe they have kept her hostage for a ransom.” The idea made me sound crazy but I was out of explanations by now. The next thing I knew my warrior on guard at the main gates of my land was knocking frantically at m

"Your...sister?" she echoed faintly, her voice laced with a mixture of emotions that mirrored the turmoil swirling within me.I nodded, taking a deep breath as I steadied myself for the storm of questions and emotions that was bound to follow. "Yes, Elora. My father...our father," I corrected myself, the words tasting bitter on my tongue, "has made choices that hurt many, including you and our mother. But I want you to know, none of that is your fault. You are as much a part of this pack, this family, as I am."Maya gripped my hand tightly, a silent show of support. She had always been my rock, her strength unwavering even in the midst of chaos. "We're going to look after you, Elora," she said, her voice firm despite the tremble that had lingered moments before. "You're safe here, with us."Elora looked between us, her eyes glimmering with unshed tears as the gravity of the revelation began to

The thought of her being in my pack, in my territory, made my blood boil.I needed to clear my head, to let go of all the pent-up rage and disappointment. I sprinted through the woods, my paws pounding against the forest floor. The wind rushed through my fur, cooling the fire burning inside me. My wolf howled in exhilaration, relishing the freedom of the run. But, even in the midst of the adrenaline-fueled sprint, I couldn't escape the consequences of my actions. Images of Elora's tear-stained face flashed before my eyes, and guilt started to creep in. How could I be so heartless to her? She was innocent, a victim of my mistakes. The weight of my responsibilities as an alpha felt heavy on my shoulders. As I slowed down, the anger began to dissipate, repl

  • Dark Moon   Chapter Sixteen

“Is everything ok, Alpha?” My Beta knocked on my door and poked his head around to check on me. I was sitting up in bed with a splitting headache. I had drunk way to much this time and now my son knew that that stupid slut Elora was his sister. This was a nightmare for me. How could I have opened my mouth in the worst possible way? I was certain that he would not tell his mother of my unfaithfulness to her and the secret daughter that had been hidden away from her all of these years. “I will be, keep an eye on that slutty omega Elora. She is nothing but trouble that one.” I told him to which he looked slightly surprised but did not challenge my request. Being alpha meant what I said went. I was the leader of the pack. He closed the door behind him and my luna came stomping into the room with a look of thunder on her tired face. She still had it, even after these years and has given birth. Her body was to die for. My wolf still went crazy insane when she was near. Even though I

I wanted to kill him. How could she be my sister? How could my father cheat on my beautiful mother like she were a worthless hoare? He was lucky I did not kill him there and then. Elora did not deserve to be treated this way all because my father saw her as his dirty little secret. I could not bare to see him hurt my mother or my sister. It felt strange to think I had a sister. Elora. Maya would be crazy when I told her about this. My father did not seem to care one little bit about Elora. He had tried to end her life to keep her quiet over something that was not her fault. It made me question everything my father had ever told me over the years. He wasn’t the man I had looked up to growing up. I was certain I would never be such a selfish alpha when I finally took over the reins. I was determined that my pack would be treated fairly no matter their rank status. My father was so drunk he could barely get up. I ordered some of the warriors to take him inside and put him to bed wh

It's not like she is my mate or anything but I do feel a strange sense of pull to her. Maya would be crazy if she knew that, she would get it all wrong and think I was interested in Elora when It isn't anything like that. I can't explain it. My father being like like that freaked me out. It was like he had been possessed. I was glad I got there in time. Flora had a faint pulse so I carried up to one of the spare bedrooms where Maya could attend to her. “What the hell happened to her?” Maya shrieked when she saw the bruised and battered Elora in my arms. “I don't know what's got into him, he almost killed her. Maya we have to get her away from him. He's going to send this whole pack down if he kills her.” It scared me to think that my own father could kill a she-wolf. He had walked off like it were no big deal. The walls and floors were splattered with blood. It was like a

Chapter Thirteen I woke up to the sunshine steaming through the window. I let out a yawn and stretched my tired body out. My arms still ached from all the work from yesterday. I jumped out of the bed and quickly washed then got dressed. I could not afford upset the alpha anymore. I knew full well that if I wasn't up and making breakfast for the pack, then I would be beaten again. I prepared pancakes and helped the other omegas to set up the dining hall. It was almost seven am before we had finally got everything completed. I let out a sigh of relief and felt so pleased with my effort. At least I would be out of trouble for now. I made my way back to the kitchen when I felt someone's presence. Looking up at the door I froze. Then came the smack. Falling to the ground, I shielded myself from his blows. It was pointless to plead and beg for him to stop as that would make him angrier and I would be even more punished. He hated me and wanted me dead. I knew it. Death was very much

“Let me out of here,” I screamed at the top of my lungs but nobody came and nobody heard me. I was down here all alone, Alpha Isaac had not been back yet so I didn't know if he was leaving me here to die alone. I wished that I had stayed away, I was safe with my mate. If I could escape then I could at least shift and hunt for food to survive. Unfortunately for me I had not been allowed to shift for a long time and my wolf had gone quiet on me. I was so weak, hungry and thirsty that I somehow managed to fall asleep. The cold bare floor was becoming my home. “El, wake up. Come on.” I thought I was dreaming as someone shook me vigorously. My chains had been taken off and I looked up rk see a kind looking face smiling down at me. Maya. The Beta’s daughter was standing in front of me holding her hand out to me. “Elora, come on. You can't stay down here.” she huffed crossly. “Take her, she is to weak.” Maya ordered to someone behind her and the next thing I was being carried to

One thing I could not and would not allow to happen and that is for Elora to be free from my pack. I promised myself all those years ago that she could never know how strong she would one day be. She ruined that by going off and finding her stupid mate. Luckily for me she came back and fell for my plan to keep her here. There is nothing I wouldn’t do to protect my alpha status. That girl had no idea what she was dealing with. She needed to be kept under control, if she shifted into that wolf then it would be even more difficult to keep my secret. All this because of her pathetic excuse of a mother. If she had not given birth then I would not have wasted so much of my time and energy on keeping quiet. The moon goddess had blessed me with my son, I did not need a daughter out of wedlock. Especially with someone who was just the pack hoare. The day she died was certainly a good day for me. My beautiful Luna would never know about my affair with the hoare. Elora was a mistak

  • Dark Moon   Chapter Ten

I woke up feeling so uncomfortable and it took me a few moments to realise that I was locked up in the lowest dungeon. There was no window and no light. It reeked of mould and other unsightly things. I felt sick and wished that I had never left the packhouse that night. I tried to stand up from the floor but was pulled back by something which made me scream because I realised I was chained to the wall like an animal. The door clicked open and I blinked as light flooded the tiny dungeon. Alpha Isaac. “Did you really think I was going to just let you leave like that? All these years I’ve kept you safe and well looked after. This is how you think it’s ok to repay me?” He was furious to say the least. I tried my best to hold back the tears but I was afraid, my body trembled as he stepped towards me. Standing only a few metres from my side. “You disgust me.” He spat in my face and forced me to my knees. The pain making me cry out loudly, causing him to then slap me around
