Ruari (Book 1)

We were all sitting in my office. We had gotten back a half hour ago. Mother made all of us go shower since according to her we were dirty and smelly. I was afraid that Aerian would be out for a while, but she woke up quick. Mother also made her eat as soon as she woke up, which seemed to help. That made Aerian giggle as mother dragged her to my office. I sat down in my chair as everyone else got comfortable. My dark princess was sitting by my mother. She was clearly on edge and twisting her hands in her lap. I could feel her anxiety as she sat there. I could not figure out why she would be so nervous. I knew she was not afraid of us, so this did not make sense.
