"Puwede bang mag-request?" I asked Jeremiah after the dinner. Wala raw siyang magawa kaya tumatambay siya sa kwarto ko.

"What is it?" Mataman niya akong tinignan.

"I promised kasi na magpapadala ako ng chocolates sa bahay-ampunan. Can you do it for me? Ikaw nalang ang bumili at magpadala. Ito oh,"

I handed him the money which he accepted.

"As soon as possible. Wala ka bang lakad bukas?"

"May klase pa ako."

"What about the other day?"
