The Alpha nodded, her gaze filled with wisdom and understanding. "Now go," she said, with a smile. "Your friends are waiting for you." I turned, knowing that it was time to leave. I took a deep breath, and then began to walk away. I felt a sense of peace as I moved through the trees, the moonlight filtering through the branches. I knew that my life would never be the same, but I also knew that I was ready for whatever came next. I was ready to face my future, whatever it might hold.
