Crept behind the thick curtains of Monica Dawn Yousaf Al-sayed’s room was a five-year old Kitana.

She was holding her own mouth shut afraid to make even a muffle sound that will make the Sheikh Shalef Bin Yousaf Al-Sayed found out that she was hiding there.

At such a young age, Kitana knew the rules of their kingdom, her father, the king made it clear that a princess like her is not allowed inside the harem, especially not to her own mother’s harem.

As a princess, Kitana had been taught well by her murabiyas and the private teachers the Sheikh hired to teach her that she was not allowed to demand for her own mother’s affection.
