Chapter Sixty

Listening to Damien talk about his achievements was motivating. From his story, I could see a man who struggled and worked for every penny he had. An hour into our conversation, I yawned four times. “Are you dizzy honey?" Damien asked, turning off the Tv with the remote. I yawned again “mmm". He turned off the lamp and adjusted himself in bed.

I woke up the next day to the sound of Damien's voice the next day. Damien stood by the door and gave instructions to his security men. Immediately he noticed I was half awake, he dismissed them. “Good morning Irene, how are you feeling?" He asked with a straight face. I raised my head and grumpily got out of bed without replying to him.

I rubbed my eyes and hissed many times as I walked to the bathroom. I emptied my bladder and brushed my teeth. “Why are you grumpy?" Damien asked as he leaned on the bathroom door. I rolled my eyes because I had no reason for my actions. “Leave me alone Damien, you disturbed my sleep" I responded
