Chapter Hundred and thirty seven

Cole could barely take his eyes off me the whole time. He was chopping and staring at me like a hungry lion. As soon as he turned off the gas forty six minutes later, he took off his apron and carried me on his shoulder. Cole didn’t stop till we got to the bedroom. He laid me down gently and leaned over me. “Silly!” He poked my head. “Teasing me? I almost chopped off my fingers” he kissed my neck.

Cole smelled of fresh vegetables and curry sauce he had just made. “Baby, I think you should shower” I kissed his nose. My words were like triggering a gun. Cole frowned and sniffed himself. He got off me and sniffed his underarm. “I stink?” He asked, frowning. I sat up and held his shoulder. I helped him take off his shirt gently. “No baby, the baby doesn’t like you smelling like the kitchen “ I whispered, giving him a hug.
