Malachi POV.

I watch as Dahlia walks away with Alpha Lucius and I know I’m acting jealous and I shouldn’t be he is mated but it is the way he holds her and smirks at me that I know he is trying to rile me up and it’s working.

I wait until they have left and leave the pack house and head to the training grounds. I begin to train the warriors harder than before, trying to release this pent up anger and frustration. After everything that transpired yesterday, I need to release it.

“Well, you were a grade A moron, Mal. That we can both agree on.” Hyde has been so kindly pointing out my mistakes since last night and I try my best to block him out, but he is right. I fucked up again. I shouldn’t have said what I did to her. But words can’t be taken back and words hurt more than actually being physically wounded.
