Amira’s POV

“Do I know you?” I asked with a confused expression, and his expression immediately turned ugly.

“You should be grateful that I even took the initiative to speak to someone like you,” he said with an angry voice.

“I never asked you to speak to me in the first place,” I said with a frown.

“Do you know who he is?” A girl who heard what I said asked me angrily.

“Do I look like I give a damn?” I asked her with a slight smile.

“Some people really don't know where they belong,” the girl said while glaring at me.

“That's enough; you all need to be more welcoming." Miss Scarlett said it with a frown.

“And Mason, the chair lady already told me about your relationship with Amira, and I hope you will respect yourself around her,” she said to Mason with a frown.

The entire class erupted in whispers, and some of the girls kept giving me bombastic side eyes, but I just kept smiling as they were too insignificant in the grand scheme of things.
