EIGHTY
Just as Calvin turned after putting down Hazel's tray of dirty dishes, Catherine appeared behind him, about to ask the nurse where Hazel's treatment room was. The woman's eyes widened in surprise as she looked at him for the first time in many long months. He knew what Catherine was thinking right now, he looked a little different from the last time she saw him. His hair is now shorter. He had trimmed it before deciding to become Hazel's stalker. Then the dark circles under his eyes must have made him look like a ghost. But Catherine didn't last long in her surprise, instead she greeted him sincerely.
"Calvin? Long time no see."
"I guess so too. Very long. Did I scare you into looking at me like that?”
Catherine laughed. Now she doesn't look as gentle as she used to. Her laughter was loud among the nurses who were so quiet. Calvin suspects this is the real Catherine.
“I was surprised, I admit it. You're thinner. What happened to you all this time?”

It's white, has a strong carbolic smell, and is very boring. There was no interesting sight in the room other than the blue curtains that occasionally swayed because of the wind blowing from the air conditioner. Everything seemed very quiet in the room. Even Hazel thought she could hear her own breathing and the constant beating of her heart. She was alone in her treatment room. Everyone has gone home to move on with their own lives. And she was left alone here in silence. Catherine had been with her long enough today. All morning until noon they exchanged whatever stories they could until their lips were dry and tired. Then at one o'clock she said goodbye because she had to pick up the girls at school. Shortly after Catherine left, Mrs Eden trotted into Hazel's nursery. Her face was pale when she saw her. Last night was one of the few nights that brought Hazel contentment. There was no night more beautiful than the one she could spend with Calvin. Last night they were both really crazy. Just as the madman jerked her arm and made her grip on the door handle slip, someone from outside suddenly opened the door.
