Chapter 46

Ariana's POV

Since Henry and I were already standing, we quickly rushed outside the bathroom and past the place where Henry had laid for a while. We went past numerous shelves on a rush, without even bothering to make sure our footsteps echoed less on the floor of the library. We just forged ahead, determined to see who had dared to enter into the Alpha's private library since everyone knew it was out of bounds except to a selected few.

I had a good guess on the person who had slammed the door of the library but I wasn't sure yet so I didn't want to jump to conclusions. I wanted to see who the person was with my eyes before I would think of what to do after that.

We went ahead -Henry and I- until we bursted out on a rush of nervous energy into the main aisle of the library. From there we were able to see a figure of a person and from the features I could manage to make out from here, I was certain that it was a man even though his back was to us.
