Sophia left immediately.

“What's up with her?" I asked.

“Just stay out of this, okay? There's more to this than just a revenge plan. It's a spell that haunts her until she gets the guilt out of her heart and I wish I knew earlier.” He said.

"Oh. I'm really sorry about that but isn't there a way to break the spell? Maybe that will satisfy her enough?” I asked.

He shook his head. “There's a way but breaking this spell isn't advisable. Anyway, she'll be fine and I'll still try my best to protect you without neglecting her.”.

Arthur was just too sweet to be a wolf. Even too sweet to be a wizard. Not even a human. He was like a puppy. Cute and loyal.
