Chapter 119(let there be darkness)

Hazel's Point Of View:

Alex, the mermaid named Mariah, and I stood in the middle of the graveyard with the moon above.

She broke the spell and it was now time to bring Sophia in.

The mermaid had gotten her blade ready. It wasn't just a normal blade, it was mystical and was said to have the ability to kill a witch in one swing.

I didn't want to believe it and I was prompted to touch it. I touched it so recklessly that it cut my palm.

“Don't touch it! It's only made to kill witches! Don't bring a curse upon yourself!” Mariah spat

"Sorry,” I apologized, looking at my palm.

“Bring her here!” She commanded.

I didn't know how I would get Sophia in and I wasn't even sure how I would face her and speak with her.

“I can't," I muttered.

"Come on. I don't have much time to waste here! I need to return to my family!!”.

Alex let out a sigh, “I'll get her." He volunteered before leaving Mariah and I in the graveyard.
