Chapter Eighty Three

Zirah's POV

AFTER the whole incident with me finding out about Damon having a hand in the kidnapping of my kids and the whole not having any contact with him since he's been AWOL, it's been a very tense couple of weeks.

Not knowing where he was, or what he was going to do next worried me a lot but Noah kept on telling me not to be worked up, showing me the ins and outs of their defense, promising me that if he steps foot in there we'll know in the next minute

With all that, I still wasn't reassured.

I think it's because deep down, I knew that Damon wouldn't just easily give up not when he's that obsessed with me. I had a feeling he was just bidding his time, waiting for the right moment to strike, and once he does it might be fatal.

But it's been three weeks now, and no word. I think it's time to relax a bit, and maybe hope that he's finally gone from our lives.
