Chapter Eighty Seven

Zirah's POV

Not wanting the incident that happened earlier to repeat itself, I left my kids at home and decided to take a walk tired of being cooped up in this large house.

Even though I was tired of my relationship with Noah, it was way too bumpy for my liking, and everything right now just felt weird between us so I left it alone. However, I couldn't deny that from time to time, my thoughts strayed to Damon and what he could be doing.

But I decided to create my happy place which was when I spent some much-needed bonding time with my kids, who by the way were growing so fast.

But even that couldn't keep me sustained for long, and I began to crave the outdoors.

So against Noah's wishes, I snuck out of the house leaving a note for him to find when he comes back from his secret meetings.
