Heather forwarded the gossip she had overheard to Jason again, texting, "Your students are saying you're going to marry into your fiancée's family."

Standing at the lectern, Jason scanned the room with a stern expression. "Anyone not paying attention can leave," he said sharply.

The students who had been whispering immediately fell silent.

Heather gazed at Jason. Today, he was wearing a black casual suit, no tie, and his belt cinched his slim waist, making him look even more tall and elegant.

She rested her chin in her hand, a smile tugging at her lips without her realizing it.

No wonder his lectures were always packed. Even if they didn't understand the material, at least they had something nice to look at.

But lately, Heather had seen him so often that the allure was starting to wear off. Halfway through the lecture, she dozed off.
