Chapter two

As I walked through the halls of Beacon Hills High, I couldn't help but feel like an outsider. I had just transferred from a different school, and everything about this place felt foreign to me. The students, the teachers, the building itself - it all seemed so different from what I was used to.

But I was determined to make a new life for myself here. I had run away from my old school, from the police, from my past. And I was determined to leave it all behind.

Suddenly, one of them stepped forward. "Hey, you're the new kid, right?" he asked.

I nodded, trying to stay calm.

"Well, welcome to Beacon Hills High," he said, with a smirk on his face. "I'm Scott, and these are my friends, Stiles and Allison."

I nodded, trying to make small talk. But I could tell they were all staring at me, trying to figure me out.

And then, I saw her. The most beautiful girl I had ever laid eyes on. She was standing across the hall, looking at me with a curious expression.

"Who's that?" I asked Scott, trying to sound casual.

"Oh, that's Lydia," he said. "She's a bit of a loner, but she's really smart. And beautiful, of course."

I nodded, trying to play it cool. But I couldn't help but feel drawn to her.

As the days went by, I found myself spending more and more time with Lydia. We would sit together at lunch, and she would tell me about her love of science and mathematics. I was fascinated by her intelligence, and she seemed to be fascinated by my... unusual abilities.

But as much as I liked Lydia, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was in danger. The police were still looking for me, and I knew it was only a matter of time before they found me.

And then, there were the strange occurrences. Doors would slam shut on their own, and I would hear strange noises in the hallways at night. It was as if the school was haunted, and I was starting to suspect that I was the cause of it all.

I knew I had to get out of there, and I started to run. But as I ran, I felt like I was being pulled back, like something was trying to keep me there.

I finally made it out of the school, and I didn't stop running until I was back in my bed. I was shaking with fear, and I knew that I had to be careful.

I was confused and scared, but I knew I had to do something. "H-how can I do that?"

She handed me a small, leather-bound book. "This contains the knowledge you need. But be warned, the journey will be difficult and dangerous."

I took the book, feeling a surge of determination. I was ready to face whatever lay ahead.
