Here's the continuation of the story in a high school setting:

As I walked into the school, I couldn't help but feel like everyone was staring at me. The police had been looking for me everywhere, and I knew I had to keep a low profile. But it was hard to do when you're a new student in a small high school.

I had been on the run for days, ever since the incident at the old house. I had no idea what was going on or why the police were after me. All I knew was that I had to keep moving.

But now, I was stuck in this small town, attending a high school where everyone seemed to know each other. I felt like an outsider, and I knew I had to be careful.

As I walked down the hallway, I saw a group of students staring at me. They were whispering to each other, and I knew they were talking about me. I tried to ignore them, but it was hard.

Suddenly, one of them stepped forward. "Hey, you're the new kid, right?" he asked.

I nodded, trying to stay calm.

"What's your name?" he asked.

"Frank," I replied, trying to sound confident.

The student looked at me skeptically. "Well, Frank, you're definitely new around here. But don't worry, we'll make sure you fit in."

I smiled, trying to play along. But I knew I had to be careful. I couldn't let anyone get too close, or they might figure out who I really was.

As I walked away, I heard the student whisper to his friends. "I don't trust him. There's something weird about him."

I knew I had to keep my guard up. I couldn't let anyone discover my true identity. But as I walked through the halls, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched.

And then, I saw him. The police officer who had been chasing me. He was standing in the hallway, looking at me with a suspicious gaze.

I knew I had to get out of there, fast. I turned around and ran, pushing through the crowds of students. I could hear the officer shouting behind me, but I didn't look back.

I kept running until I reached the safety of the school library. I hid behind a shelf, panting and trying to catch my breath.

As I looked around, I saw a figure standing in the corner. It was the school librarian, Mrs. Jenkins. She was looking at me with a kind smile.

"Hello, Frank," she said. "Welcome to our school. I see you're having a bit of a rough day."

I nodded, feeling a sense of relief. Maybe this was the one place where I could finally be safe.

But as I looked into Mrs. Jenkins' eyes, I saw something there that made me feel uneasy. Something that made me wonder if I was really safe after all.

"Frank, I think you should know that I've been expecting you," Mrs. Jenkins said, her voice low and mysterious. "You see, I've been watching you, and I know all about your little secret."

I felt a chill run down my spine. How did she know? I thought I had been so careful.

"What secret?" I tried to play dumb, but Mrs. Jenkins just smiled.

"Don't play innocent with me, Frank. I know you're not who you say you are. You're Sam, the boy who's been on the run from the police."

My heart sank. How did she know? I thought I had left all that behind.

"What do you want from me?" I asked, trying to stay calm.

"I want to help you, Frank," Mrs. Jenkins said. "I know you're in danger, and I want to keep you safe. But you have to trust me."

I hesitated. Could I really trust her? Or was she just trying to trap me?

But something about Mrs. Jenkins seemed different. She seemed kind and genuinely concerned for my well-being.

"Okay," I said finally. "I'll trust you. But you have to promise me one thing: you have to keep my secret safe."

Mrs. Jenkins nodded. "I promise, Frank. Your secret is safe with me."

And with that, I knew I had found an unlikely ally in my quest to stay one step ahead of the police and uncover the truth about my past.

Mrs. Jenkins smiled and nodded. "Good. Now, let's get you settled in. You can stay in the library after hours, and I'll make sure you have everything you need."

I nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. For the first time in weeks, I felt like I had a place to call home.

As the days passed, I settled into a routine. I spent my days attending classes and trying to blend in, and my nights hiding out in the library, researching and trying to uncover the truth about my past.

Mrs. Jenkins proved to be a valuable ally, providing me with food and shelter, and helping me to stay one step ahead of the police.

But despite her help, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched. I saw strange shadows lurking in the corners of the library, and heard whispers in the hallways.

I knew I had to be careful. I couldn't let my guard down, not even for a moment.

One night, as I was researching in the library, I stumbled upon a strange book. It was old and leather-bound, and it seemed to radiate an otherworldly energy.

As I opened the book, I felt a sudden chill run down my spine. The pages were blank, but I could sense that they held a secret.

Suddenly, the lights in the library flickered and died. I was plunged into darkness, and I could feel a presence closing in around me.

I tried to run, but my feet felt heavy, as if they were rooted to the spot. And then, I heard a voice. It was low and menacing, and it seemed to come from all around me.

"You can't hide forever, Sam," the voice said. "You have to face the truth."

And with that, the lights flickered back to life, and I was left standing there, shaking and alone.

I tried to calm down and tell myself it was just my imagination, but I couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched. I quickly gathered my things and left the library, making sure to lock the door behind me.

As I walked through the empty hallways, I couldn't help but feel like I was being followed. I quickened my pace, my heart racing with every step.

Suddenly, I heard footsteps behind me. I spun around, but there was no one there. I kept walking, my senses on high alert.

The footsteps grew louder, and I could tell they were getting closer. I started to run, my heart pounding in my chest.

Just as I was about to turn a corner, a hand grabbed my arm, spinning me around. I found myself face to face with a stranger, his eyes gleaming with an otherworldly intensity.

"Who are you?" I demanded, trying to shake off his grip.

"You know who I am, Sam," he said, his voice low and menacing. "I'm the one who's been watching you. And I'm here to take you in."

I struggled to break free, but he was too strong. He dragged me through the hallways, ignoring my protests and struggles.

Finally, we reached a door I had never seen before. He pushed me through it, and I found myself in a strange, dimly lit room.

The room was filled with strange equipment and machines, and in the center of it all was a figure I knew all too well - the police officer who had been chasing me.

"Welcome, Sam," he said, a cruel smile spreading across his face. "You've been a hard man to find. But now, you're going to pay for your crimes."

I knew I was in grave danger. I had to think fast if I wanted to escape. But how could I outsmart them when they had me right where they wanted me?
