Chapter 2

" Are you ready?" Ava asked impatiently for the tenth time now. sarah was taken forever to get ready and they are late, like they are freaking 30 minutes late.

" I'm done! I'm done!" She rushed her words and grabbed the car keys. With her 3.5 heels she walked briskly out of the room and almost fall flat on her face.

" Sarah, calm down." Ava cautioned trailing behind her.

" It's remained just 10 more minutes before they called out the names" she panicked.

" You are the cause of these." Ava blamed and opened the passenger door of sarah's car.

Sarah got in to the driver's seat and ingited the car engine. She zoomed off speedily.

Yeah! Today is their convocational day, like they are freaking graduating from college after all these years. They won't be late if not for Sarah who wants to be perfect. She took almost 2 hours to get ready; now she made them late.

The car stopped halfway suddenly. They jerked back on the seat scared.

" Not now; not now" sarah groaned.

" What happened?" Ava asked confused.

Sarah got down not replying her, she got down after her and met her standing before the bonnet.

" What are we going to do?" Ava shrinked.

" I don't know; I don't even have a hint" she replied fed up.

She tapped the battery head as she saw on the movie. 

" Ava; got in and ignited the engine" sarah requested impatiently.

" Okay" she bummed and got in. She ignited the car but nothing happened.

" Sarah; nothing happened" she said bitterly.

" Let me tried another thing" she said and run her through the wire she doesn't know the name.

" Can I got a water" she requested.

" I'm coming" Ava replied coming down with the water she was drinking earlier.

" Here!" She passed and she collected it immediately.

She poured the content into the car liberator or something like that.

" Go in and check now" she said tired of every damn thing.

She went in and turned the key, it kicked once and they shouted happily. 

Pheeew! The engined dead back

" What the fuck" they half yelled.

" Start it again" she advised and Ava did as she says.

" Oh! Thank God" they yelled as it started once again.

This time around, the engine didn't dead off like the other time.

" I can't believe you have turned to a mechanic" Ava joked as she drive.

Sarah laughed and throw her head back. Ava joined.

Soon enough their laughed dead down and silence took over.

Ava played a music from her phone to kill off the boring silence.

" Phew!" Ava breath out in relieved as sarah packed the car in the school's garage.

She got down quickly and smooth her dress. She clutch to her purse tightly.

They walked briskly to the hall and met alot of people in there including their family.

They walked in gently to where their colleagues are and Sarah sat beside Richard who has been expecting her for a long time.

Sarah wore a long rose blossom iman gown, the gown was made in a way that it was sleeveless with a turtle neck. It was backless, all her back was seen. It looked so simple yet elegant and decent. 

She wore a white plum heel, she clutch tight to her white envelope purse which look small and beautiful. On her neck laid a beautiful festoon necklace with a dotted rose blossom stone round it; same with the hearing she was putting on. In a word; she looked breathtaking.

Ava on the other hand wore a long cardinal red keleigh gown. It was sleeveless also but with a cross chested in both front and back. On her feet was a silver block heel shoes, the color stand out with her gown. On her neck was a tiny silver necklace, so tiny that you had to be close to her before you could know she was wearing one. A tiny silver stud earrings is on her both ears. She looks dashing with her light make up.

She also sat beside Richard, making him in between sarah and Ava.

" Why are you guys late?" Richard questioned curiously.

" Is it not your silly girl friend that used almost an hour to ready." Ava snickered at sarah who was giggling.

" You think is funny right?" Ava asked with a raised brow.

" Yeah! Of course, you need to see your face" she replied still giggling.

" Just let me catch you, just let me get my hands on you." she threatened jokingly.

" What are.....

The voice from the podium cut her short. Ava stick her tongue out mockingly to fuming sarah.

" Today is a great day in our college." the man on the podium speak out and they all listened attentively forgetting all their childish play.

" Our fifth set of student are graduating from our college today" he added continuing his speech.

" As you knew how we used to did for the last five years" he stopped for a while and people nodded in agreement.

" Well! It has not changed and it would never change" he completed.

A loud roar of happy shout and clapping erupted from the hall.

With their certificate in their hand, they took so many pictures smiling and chatting happily.

 Ava, sarah and Richard all sat round the table after they are done taking the pictures.

" Finally graduating at last." Ava said enthusiastic.

" Yeah! I'm so happy girl." Sarah stated happily.

" Cheers to us." Ava said raising her cup for a toast.

" Cheers!!!" They shouted and click their glasses.

" let party" sarah yelled after gulping down her wine.

" Yay!!!" They shouted excited and dance to the music which was playing.

" Sarah!! Follow me." Richard uttered half drunk.

" Where are you coming from? You left after our toast, now you are back half drunk and demanding that I should follow you, to where?." Sarah blurted out demanding.

" Just followed me," he grumbled drunkily.

"I am not following you anywhere with you drunk like this." Sarah stated and wringled out of his grasps.

" Trust me." he gulped and breath out alcohol. Sarah covered her nose and shifted back.

" Just trust me." He pleaded in a wobble voice.

" Richard, i'm following you because I trusted you." She said, her heart beating fast.

He grabbed her wrist and dragged her to the school abandoned library.
