Walking into a trap

Camille's POV 

I gave Gavriel's hand a little squeeze. I wasn't exactly sure what to do.  

Or say.  

Marcus drove us down to the hospital to see the worker who had been injured. Gav sat still like a stone statue, a stern look on his face. He was lost in thought, and for a minute, I wasn't sure he had even noticed that I squeezed his hand.  

I sighed, trying to figure out what exactly was going on. Gavriel definitely hadn’t used hazardous chemicals in producing his fabrics. It went against the very things he stood for. It went against his integrity. He must be immensely pissed by the accusations. 

He squeezed my hand in return, and a small smile nibbled its way to my lips. It would be fine. We just had to find out what exactly Alan Johnson was thinking when he said that. If he was able to even talk at all.
