I stared at the device in my hand. It was one of the old phones I had used years ago and apparently, it still worked quite well.  

I curled my lips in disgust, remembering what had happened to my phone.  

Alan Johnson was lying about being sick. The doctors were in on the trick as well. It just made me wonder who else was involved in the whole scheme.
