The look on Gavriel's face was worth it. His eyes were wide in what looked more like horror and for a minute while everyone laughed, he just stood still, frozen, trying to process what was going on.
"Surprise?" I drawled, strutting towards him happily. I had never managed to surprise him and with the wide-eyed look on his face, I had scored big time.
"What is this?" He murmured when he finally recovered from the shock.
