Chapter 27: Flora freaks out when she suspects Graham is cheating on her

Kylie’s POV.

The Sunday morning sun streamed through the window as I paced around my room. My phone buzzed, and I saw Graham’s name flash on the screen. With a deep breath, I answered.

“Hello, Graham,” I said, keeping my tone light.

“Hey, Anne,” he replied, his voice smooth and confident. “I was thinking... We’ve seen your dancing and painting skills, and they’re extraordinary. But what about swimming? How good are you?”

I could almost see the smirk on his face. Graham loved to show off his swimming prowess, and this was his way of challenging me. “Swimming? I can hold my own,” I replied, keeping the anticipation out of my voice.

“Great! How about we hit the pool tomorrow? I’d love to see you in action,” he suggested.

“Tomorrow sounds perfect,” I said, smiling. “I’ll meet you there.”
