Chapter 33: Flora is pissed off

Kylie’s POV.

As Logan left my office, I watched him go, feeling satisfied and determined. The door closed behind him, and I turned my attention to the window. From there, I could see Flora being thrown out of the building by security. Her face was a twisted mask of fury and despair, her shouts echoing through the courtyard.

“Prepare yourself, Anne! I won’t leave you easy!” Flora screamed, her voice dripping with venom. “I’ll find out who you really are, you and Logan both!”

I couldn’t help but smile at her rage. “Poor Flora,” I thought, a smirk playing on my lips. “She’s scrambling in vain, like a moth to a flame. She doesn’t realize this battle was lost before it began.”

I moved away from the window and sat back down in my chair, feeling the power of my position. “She still doesn’t know about the relationship between Anne and Graham,” I mused, tapping my fingers on the desk. “Once she finds out her precious man is already drooling over me, she’ll be in for the shock of her life.”
