“I can't believe I am already missing him,” she muttered frustratingly. She decided to go to work just to get him out of her head, but couldn't.

Even though she was busy going through the piles of documents she was to finish before the weekend, she couldn't concentrate as Alden's absence clouded her mind.

“You seem lost rather than focused on your work. I doubt if this is the boss that employed me,” Jane's voice made her snap out of her thoughts, reminding her she was still in the office. “Who are you? Are you a she-devil who possesses hardworking ladies' bodies?”
