The moment I saw the paper fall from his hand, I wasn’t sure what to say. It wasn’t that I wanted to hide it from him, I just thought I could handle it myself. The last thing I wanted was for him to find it the way he did.

The look of betrayal on his face, made me feel guilty. I knew the notes were something that needed to be handled, but the look on his face made me wonder if I should have just told him in the first place. I could tell he was angry, yet it was the betrayal in his eyes that got to me.

I didn’t respond right away. While the way he looked at me bothered me, it was the notes themselves. Looking down at the notes, I thought maybe I should have destroyed them. Each note had made my skin crawl. I didn’t have to look at the notes to know what they said, I can remember every word as if they echoed through my mind on repeat.

Author - Real life always comes first. Despite people being anxious to read this story because it good, you have to take care of yourself, family, new computers, etc first. Thanks for coming back to the story, though, it's a great read.
