Tatum-
The meeting hadn’t gone as planned. I spent most of the day trying to convince the elders to allow Brook to give her presentation, for her project. Nothing I said or did convince them to give her the time of day.
When I returned home, Eric and Brook were on a run. I watched them for a little while, before heading inside to take a shower and get changed. I was so pissed right now, I just needed to refresh myself. Either that or go back to drinking.
Which I wasn’t going to do. The last thing I needed was to go back to my old ways. As much I wanted to see Brook, I dreaded it at the same time. I didn’t have good news for her. Even though I was the Alpha, they were acting as if I intentionally tried to pull a fast one on them.
Okay, I suppose technically I had, but that didn’t mean they needed to act like they were with Brook. Her idea was a good one and I thought it would eventually benefit the pack. As much as I knew it was goi
Brooklyn- The moment I saw the paper fall from his hand, I wasn’t sure what to say. It wasn’t that I wanted to hide it from him, I just thought I could handle it myself. The last thing I wanted was for him to find it the way he did. The look of betrayal on his face, made me feel guilty. I knew the notes were something that needed to be handled, but the look on his face made me wonder if I should have just told him in the first place. I could tell he was angry, yet it was the betrayal in his eyes that got to me. “Did you hear me?” Tate asked. I didn’t respond right away. While the way he looked at me bothered me, it was the notes themselves. Looking down at the notes, I thought maybe I should have destroyed them. Each note had made my skin crawl. I didn’t have to look at the notes to know what they said, I can remember every word as if they echoed through my mind on repeat. “Brook you are trying my patience. I am trying really hard not to be an
Brooklyn- The name was like a distant memory. It felt like it happened so long ago. The night Felix nearly forced me to have sex with him, had been the last time I saw him. I had thought that I was free of him, thinking of the notes now that I knew who wrote them, I could see I wasn’t. “How do you know it was him?” I asked, stepping back from Tate so I could pick up the notes. I just needed to keep myself busy. When I looked towards the ground where they had been laying, I saw Eric had already picked them up and was reading them. The look on his face was full of anger and disgust. I could only imagine what Tate must have looked like when he read them. Eric hadn’t said a word, in fact I had thought maybe he had left. Now I could see he had just been reading the notes. Just earlier he had been upset I was hiding something from him, well now he knew. Was he going to be upset with me as well? The look he gave me after he looked up from the notes,
Brooklyn-The next day flew by in a blink of an eye. Tate and I were up early to start training since we expected things were going to be busy. Which is exactly what happened. As soon as we were done training, we went back to get changed and showed. Since yesterday morning I hadn’t received another note, but that all changed after I finished with my shower. Except for this time, Tate was the one who found the note. It hadn’t said much more than, ‘See you soon.’ For the next few hours, the entire pack had been on high alert as we tried to see if we could catch him. Three hours in, we had no luck. If it hadn’t been for my uncle showing up, we would have continued looking. As soon as he arrived, he went straight to work with putting up a ward around the territory. Tate still hadn’t been happy with having a warlock in the borders of his pack, but he said that I had a right to know my uncle. Not to mention that after the
Brooklyn-The guys all gathered in the living room, but it didn’t seem as if they had much to say. Every so often when I looked over at them, they were all just sitting at there. If things weren’t awkward enough, it was more awkward as they just sat there looking at each other.Thankfully it didn’t take much longer to finish making everyone the food. Just as I was about to start getting everyone’s plate made, Tate came in to lend me a hand. He held each plate for me as I dished it out. Taking a warmed slice of homemade bread, I placed it at the bottom, then placed the stuffed hamburgers on top of the bread, followed by fries that covered the hamburger. After pouring some of the chili over the fries, I sprinkled some shredded cheese over everything. Since there wasn’t enough space in the kitchen for everyone, Tate carried the plates out to the living room for everyone. I can’t remember ever eating in the living room li
Tatum-Just as planned, we all met at the backside of the pack territory. Brook and I were there first to arrive, but we didn’t have long to wait until Ryan and Jarrod, along with Ryan’s guards, arrived. We were just waiting on Eric, who still had ten more minutes.“Are you up for this tonight?” Ryan asked Brook.I looked over at Brook and found her fidgeting with her hands. She looked nervous, but I had complete faith in her abilities. This morning when we were training, it was as if she did a complete turnaround.Never in my life have I ever seen someone improve so much in their abilities, in just a short time. Watching her had been the highlight of my day. She was flawless in her movements and effortless in her attacks. I had asked her earlier how she was feeling about things; she had claimed she was fine. Now, however, she looked as if she were ready to upchuck. “We don’t have to do this tonight if you aren&
Brooklyn- When we were about five miles away from Lunar Eclipse, Ryan sent his two guards to scout the area. We held off from moving forward, while we waited for them to return. It didn’t take too long for them to return, but when they did, we still didn’t continue forward. I looked over at Eric and he didn’t seem to care, he just stood there on high alert. Looking behind me, I noticed Tate had shifted back into human form and was walking forward. I tried not to let my thoughts wander at seeing him like this. This wasn’t the time or place to be fantasizing about him. When Tate got in front of us, Ryan shifted into his human form. I looked back over at Eric who still stayed in wolf form, but I was starting to wonder what was going on. I thought we were staying in wolf form until we were about three miles out. “We have a problem.” Ryan said, once he was in human form. “What is going on?” Tate asked, sounding every bit the Alpha I knew him to b
Brooklyn-When we arrived at the border, I was a bit surprised when we just walked right past one of my old pack members. I know Jarod said he could get us in undetected, but this was unreal. It wasn’t that I hadn’t believed it, but it was a whole different thing entirely when I was seeing it happen. I waited until we were a safe distance away before saying anything.“How is it possible that he didn’t even catch our scent or see us?” I whispered, trying not to cause any unwanted attention our way.“You don’t have to whisper. They can’t sense us at all. In order for me to explain it fully, you would have to understand magic. The best I can do is say it in a way you would understand. Basically, what I am doing is keeping a shield of a sort around us that keeps the others out. There is a thing known as light and dark energy. The dark energy recognizes negative energy, so when around an enemy it reacts to it and repels
Tatum-The moment I had caught his scent, it was as if everything around me just stopped. I could recognize his scent anywhere. It had been all over Leslie. I didn’t need to know who he was, to know that he was the hunter that brutally killed her.I could still remember where I was and who I was with, so I knew I couldn’t attack. The moment he had mentioned taking Brook, something inside me snapped. It was taking every bit of control I had to not just make my move now. I realize now that avenging Leslie was no longer the issue, it was protecting Brook.Just knowing that the hunters were out there and a possible danger to Brook, is why I wanted to get rid of the hunters now. Taking out Leslie’s killer, would now just be a bonus. I had thought that there was going to be nothing that would take my attention off finding the one that killed Leslie. The moment I had spotted him though, I had just thought of the possibility that he could get to
Brooklyn-“Are you okay in there?” I heard Tate ask from just outside the bathroom door. For probably the fifth time in the past couple of days since Tate woke up, I have been hovering over the toilet. It was like I had this urge to throw up, but nothing would happen. I couldn’t even make myself throw up, even when I tried.I don’t know what was going on, all I knew is I felt miserable. Even thinking about food made me sick to my stomach. Yet when I did eat, it was as if I was starved or something. This completely sucked and I just wanted it to be over.“I don’t know.” I answered honestly. The doorknob shook, but I was thankful I at least had half the mind to lock it. The last thing I wanted was for Tate or anyone for that matter to see me like this. As far as I knew werewolves didn’t get sick in the same way humans did, but after doing some research on the computer, I was sure that maybe I had the st
Brooklyn- As soon as I felt his mouth, I nearly orgasmed at the very second. It has been far too long since I have had felt so much pleasure from him. Until he showed me the true meaning of desire, I had been perfectly fine, now it was as if I craved his touch every second of every day. My head fell back as he licked and sucked at my clit. My mind practically turned to mush as he did so, making it nearly impossible to form a sensible thought. Just when I thought I could take as much as I possibly could, he pulled my hips towards him until I was right on the edge of the counter. Out of pure reflex alone, I moved my hands to grab the edge of the counter and hold on as if my life depended on it. He lifted one of my legs and placed it over his shoulder, giving me just a bit more balance. Or at least I thought that was his intention until I felt his tongue slide from my clit and move down until it reached my entrance. In one fluid motion, he thrust his ton
Tatum-I could tell something was bothering Brook, but I couldn’t tell what it was. As much as I wanted to press on it, I kept my mouth shut. The way she nibbled on her bottom lip made me think whatever was going on in her head, she needed to come to terms with on her own time and decide if she wanted to tell me.Patiently I waited, leaning up against the kitchen counter, while she began to pace in the kitchen. I had thought maybe I could get in a shower and then take her to bed to have my way with her, but then she started acting a bit strange. It was moments like this that I wish I was a mind reader.“I haven’t been fair to you.” Brook said when she finally quit pacing.“What do you mean?” I asked, raising one of my eyebrows and tilting my head ever so slightly to the side. She didn’t respond right away, just started biting down on her bottom lip. It made me start to feel a little nervous myself, though I
Brooklyn-I waited until the auditorium cleared out before I looked over at my father. He was watching me intently the entire time, but I tried to ignore it. I don’t know why, but it annoyed me that he spoke up on my behalf. I wanted to show that I could take initiative on my own, but now I think everything was put to rest because of who my father was.“Did I say something wrong?” He asked when I just looked at him without saying a word.Taking a deep breath, I tried to calm myself before speaking. It wasn’t that I wasn’t happy to see him, I just wanted to make a name for myself. Now everyone knew who my father was and I wasn’t sure if others would respect me because of what I did and not who I was or who I was related to.Until recently I have been on my own. For the first time, I thought I was strong enough to be able to stand on my two feet and lead everyone. Now the question would always be there, was it I or my fat
Tatum- I wasn’t sure how Axel and I managed to get out of the state we were in, but when I had woken up and found Brook laying over me, the how didn’t matter. I was back and that was the only thing I cared about at the time. When I told her I was willing to give up my title for her, I had thought she would have agreed to it. It would have probably been a good idea to give it up either way, so I could focus on her, but I also loved being Alpha. I felt as if there was still so much more I could do as Alpha. Taking the hand, she held out to me after she asked her question, I accepted it without a word. Together, hand in hand, we made our way to the auditorium. The halls were empty, so I suspected everyone else was at the meeting, which I was kind of glad about. The idea of surprising everyone was sounding better and better with each step we took. This wasn’t the kind of reunion I had wanted when I woke up, then again nothing in my life has ever gone acco
Brooklyn- “It is time.” Eric said, as soon as I opened up the door to the room I was staying in with Tate. I had known that it was bound to come, but I had spent all night trying to reach Tate. When Eric had told me that the Elders were going to strip Tate of his Alpha role, I felt as if my world was disintegrating around me. On one hand I couldn’t care less about being Luna. On the other, I knew how much it meant to Tate by being Alpha. “We just need a little more time.” I whispered, feeling as if my heart was breaking. “I know, but they aren’t going to give it to us.” Eric said, sounding just as defeated as I felt. “He is going to wake up, I just know it.” I said, looking up at him and hoping there was something he could do. “I want to believe that, but we have to be realistic. It has been a week and there is still no change. I am not saying I don’t think he will never wake up, but we need to start looking at the possibility it could
Tatum-“Brook!” I screamed, watching as the life faded from her eyes.I had been so sure I could protect her. The doubts I had, I pushed away, and I gave into believing she was strong enough to protect herself. When we entered the warehouse, she had been so nervous that I had no choice but to keep myself calm, at least for her sake. The worse part of it all, I couldn’t get to her. It was almost as I was frozen in time, unable to move. I just had to stand here and watch the one I gave my heart to fall to the ground lifeless. As hard as I tried, I couldn’t make my feet move forward. As she now laid there, unmoving, I kept trying to get to her. My body felt weak like it was being weighed down by an unseen force. My heart was beating wildly in my chest, feeling as if it was going to explode at any moment.“Don’t die! I can’t lose you too!” I screamed, continuing to try to force my body to move.&ld
Brooklyn- Three days passed by and still no signs of Tate waking up. According to the pack doctor, she wasn’t sure if he even would wake up. I found out that wolfbane doesn’t just attack us physically, but it could also attack our wolf. Unless Axel can come out of it, there may be a chance that Tate could die. Even with the wolfbane completely removed, Tate wasn’t out of the woods yet. I have been staying in the hospital room with Tate, hoping that I would be there if he woke up. I have tried many times to reach him, even Skye has tried reaching Axel, but we have had no luck. As much as I wanted to be in the room until Tate woke, I had to take on the duties as Alpha, since I was Luna. At first, I hadn’t known the first thing about leading the pack, but Eric has been at my side nonstop. We still had no idea what happened to Ryan. I currently had a couple of warriors out searching for him and his guards, but it was as if he just disappeared off the face
Brooklyn-“Brook…” I heard Eric say aloud, yet it sounded so far away.“I don’t think she can hear you.” Another voice said, but I was unsure of who was speaking, as that voice sounded far away as well, but also slightly unfamiliar.“Is there anything you can do for him?” I heard Eric ask.“Not here I can’t. We need to get him back to the pack. There is some sort of poison on the blade.” I heard Jarod say. That is when everything clicked, I was still latched on to a very dead Shane. I had been so focused on what I was doing that I allowed myself to become oblivious to everything else. Tate had been stabbed and I didn’t even know if he was okay. Releasing Shane, I took one last look and saw that he was indeed very much dead. When I turned, I found Eric, my father, and Jarod surrounding Tate, who was still laying on the ground unconscious. Jarod was examining the blade th
