When his face moved towards mine.when his lips Parted mine,electricity sparked. my breath caught in the back of my throat I don't know if I find heaven or hell, I can't say. when his tongue slipped between my lips, my toes literally curled, just like my wet dreams. Butterfly filled my tummy  Goosebumps filled my skin. Every fibre of my being felt his invasion. this man is invading my privacy his kiss something combustible, something charged, something aflame I pray I find heaven not hell.

At least that's what I imagined his kisses were like my only evidence was based on the stories i heard the girls talking about

   Talia's mouth is dry,and she found it hard to swallow.the month was finally here, the month of the ritual. no matter how hard I tried running away from it it kept coming back.

     The ritual I'm talking about happens every 4 years, girls of age 18 to 20 are being taken to the cave in the outskirts of our Park and boom! One never returns back till eternity.

I'm really scared of this ritual and I always pray for it to pass me by, but luck wasn't really on my side because I just turned 18 last week, I wished the ritual passed me by but no, the red moon is just a week away and I turned 18 last week, how unfortunate to be celebrated in a year

      My mum seems so excited about this ritual because the ritual is like a treaty between two packs and the girls are being sacrificed. Even if you don't find your mate another reclaim you against your will. If you're lucky you get a good mate but if you're not that's your problem those are the ones that never return

Many families feared for their daughters but many were so excited. I do wonder what we are really being sacrificed to, maybe to some monster or some devil.

The elders of our packs had made it compulsory for us to celebrate the ritual. Many girls went shopping for this crazy ritual but I didn't cuz this ritual stuff disgust the hell out of me.

    I Sat by the window and raised my head and looked at the sky as if I was searching for the moon goddess up there, and I prayed in my mind. I should never be selected, I just want a normal life and be a doctor and not being used for some godforsaken ritual.

I wish I could run away but my dad is one of the Elders of our pack there's no way cause I'm being watched strictly

" Thalia what are you doing"I heard my younger brother Brian say entering my room. Nothing I say standing up immediately why are you here? nothing just wanted to see your face before you leave.

I was already dressed for the festival and I was sitting on my bed the door opened and I knew it was my mum 

Thalia dear I'm sorry"my mum said sitting beside me. You just have to understand what we are trying to say, it's tradition and can't be changed, you shouldn't be scared that you are going to be chosen, it's just all night and you are done"mum said smiling at Me softly

       "Mum why do I feel so scared about it? it's ok dear just be positive about everything okay"mum we are running late"Brian said barging into my room let's go"my mum said and I nodded 

      After shutting the door, the three of us entered my mum Toyota and we drove off

****They pulled at the garage close to the gathering the place was bursting with life. Getting into the gathering I could see some teenagers making out in the woods, go have fun dear my mum said taking Brian and leaving me behind.

I used my eyes to search for Daniel but I couldn't find him. Daniel is the alpha's son, and also my crush, I really have a huge crush on him and I feel the moon goddess will pair us together.

   He knows I have a huge crush on him but he would always tell me he doesn't want to hurt my feelings. Phone call) where are you"I said to him screwing some Bitches"he replied gross I muttered out dryly trying as much as possible to hold my tears.

I walked to the pack house and straight to Daniels Lodge and I could hear loud moans coming from there I didn't know why I acted so strange suddenly, I rushed to the room and burst the door open 

What the fuck Thalia" pulling away wearing his shorts, who's this fool honey"the girl asked? Get out I said to the girl.

Thalia what the fuck are you doing she's going nowhere Daniel angry boys came out why are you doing this to me? For goodness sake I love you"I have yelled.

   I can't believe you disrupt my good fuck but this love shit, how many times have I told you it can never work between us, you are not my type of girl 

"I'm sorry"not wanting to ruin our friendship, no Thalia, this is the last time you will ever come in here and shout at my girl, you can never be my mate and never my Luna keep every dirty dream of your head, in fact I don't wanna be friends with you anymore, this should be the last time you ever set your foot here"he said 

"Are you cutting me off"I asked with tears running down my cheeks? Yes he said calmly but deadly

"Fine"I said running out of his room.

  My vision was blurry because of tears and without thinking, I ran into the woods.

   I felt like someone was watching me very close, the intensity of his glance made my body shiver slightly. I couldn't help but look behind me to see I didn't realise when I bumped into someone I felt like I was hit by Hard wall, I failed to catch my balance and fall on the hard grass I looked up to see a man who looked intimidating, and he was looking down at me. I couldn't clearly see his face because of the darkness the tress covered the moon.

I'm really very sorry,sir. Please forgive me for my clumsy behaviour I never saw you coming, I apologized why cleaning my tears, I didn't even know who I was talking to as I was looking down the whole time I looked like a guilty child who was repenting.

       "Look up and show me your face I hate people with no manners"his voice was harsh and rude he spoke with authority and it scared me so I obeyed him looking up I realised how much of a big mistake I just made right now. Without thinking gasped out loud in fear. I know him.oh! God! What am I going to do now? What was going to happen to me? Because the man in front of me was no ordinary man, everyone has different ways they address him,

            Everyone in town fears him like he was the devil himself. He is the lord of this country.

         Everyone in town worship him like a God He's so powerful that he can turn anyone's existence to nothing. He was feared and respected at the same time. Yeah it was different that they respected him fearing for their life.

      I immediately look down thinking omg why is he here is he joining THE RED MOON RITUAL, rumor has it he's still mateless I fear for the girl the moon goddess paires with him well it's none of my business cuz I don't know if I will live to know.

    "Look up, never disrespect me like this again"ordered me with dominance I jumped at his harsh voice. My heart was racing like crazy. I might get a heart attack at this young age. I know not to disobey him more and immediately obeyed him like a good child.

      I looked up closely to see the most ironic steel grey eyes staring at my Hazel eyes Deadly

    His eyes looked so cold like iceberg and dark at the same time. He Give me chills. I don't want him looking at me. I was insecure because for a devil he was sinfully beautiful.

   My red lips parted in wonder, I have never seen someone so handsome. His eyes followed my lips and licked his own pink ones. Now I was afraid and he said the word I never prayed to hear from him
