Chapter 64 – Luke vs Aiden  

(Jessamine’s POV)

“Jess, baby, open the door,” Aiden knocked again on the bathroom door, but I ignored him.

“Leave her to me.” I heard Deborah say. “You and Luke should continue your squabble outside, Aiden. Look what you’ve done to her.”

“I didn’t do anything,” Aiden muttered, trying to say it in a low voice, but my room was small that I could still hear them. “Will she be okay? She’s been there for like fifteen minutes already. We should bring her to the doctor, Deb.”

Sighing, I opened the door before he called my brother… or worse, my mother, just for me to open the bathroom.

“I’m fine, Aiden,” I said, almost in a hushed tone, and walked past them.

“Why didn’t you tell me you never like the wings?” He asked, not letting go of the topic as he followed me.

“Because you like the leg part,” I growled, clenching my teeth. I could not believe our first argument as a couple was the chicken part.

“You know I’m willing to give you anything,” he said, blocking the door.
