Chapter Forty-Nine

I stared with happiness at the decorations my mother in-law and nanny Miriam set up. Heaven knows I won't be able to do this as beautifully as them. Don't get the wrong idea, I suck at decorating but my decorations compared to his was a top notch. So technically, I'm included in the list of decorators too.

I walked down to the kitchen where I was certain nanny Miriam would be. “Can I help you ma'am?” I looked at the cookies staring back at me. Oh dear, I wished to take one and I did took out of it but I ended taking three instead.

“No dear, pregnant women don't cook." I almost laughed at her excuse to make me go out of the kitchen. “Very well, I will be in the sitting room.”

“Sure, that would be nice because you're reducing my cookies.” she muttered as she continued with her cooking.

“Hey, you're two hours early. Come on in.” I stepped back a little and opened the door wider for Josh and Eshe to walk in.
