Alpha Max's POV

“Fuck!” I growled, punching my fist into the nearby wall. “I knew this was a bad idea!”

“What are you going to do now? Going to Alpha Callum would only make things worse for her!” My wolf asked as I headed to the car.

“She has the mask. There's a tracker in it,” I responded, running to my car now. “They couldn't have gotten far.”

Slamming the door behind me, I brought out my phone, to call my men while I checked for the location.

“Isabella is gone! I'm on their trail,” I announced as I zoomed off. Send some men to that place to comb the area and some should follow men/!”

As the coordinates updated on my phone, I pressed harder on the accelerator until I arrived at a desolate alley, and I hit the brakes with so much force.

My heart pounded, as I jumped down, looking around for any car or person but the alley was empty, except for a discarded mask lying on the ground.
