“ACTING as if you don’t know me huh? Tch.”

“Yah, hyung why do you look at her like you wanted to kill her?” Keith asked which made me realize that we’re at the canteen taking our lunch.

“Look, we only have how many days before the contest and here she is doing nothing while both of us are here waiting for what to do since our professor made her our leader. Tch.” I answered irritatingly.

“Hmmm. Is it because she hasn't handed us our tasks for the contest or is it because she is with that guy?” he asked while teasing me.

“Definitely not because of the second one. I am this angry because she hasn’t given us our task. We need to practice. We need to study. We need to review! I’m gonna strangle her neck if we lose.”

“Owwww. Or are you gonna strangle her to bed since she will be your wife? Hmmm?”

I wasn’t able to talk or say anything because I don’t even know where he get that news. Really? The radar of this guy is amazing.

“Wife? If I am to get married, I wi-”

“I will only marry the girl that I love. And that girl is and will always be Lia.” he finished the sentence for me.

“Tch.”

“But always remember hyung, people change and feelings too. You may love the same girl now, but who knows after the wedding. You may find yourself falling in love again like it is the first time.” Keith talks like he knows a lot about love, where in fact he is just a playboy who loves to hang around different girls.

“Talking like you know everything about love but you just keep on hanging around different girls, everyday. And where did you get the idea of me getting married with that girl?”

“You said it yourself. Where is my Pol Andrew hyung? You are not my hyung.” he said while holding my head.

“Arrgh. Keith! Stop being childish. Damn it! I did? If I do, then just keep your mouth shut. If you tell it to anyone I will kill you. You know I always do what I said. So KEEP.YOUR.MOUTH.SHUT.” I said while acting like zipping my mouth.

“Got it, hyung. I will never tell anyone, unless they ask me. You know I don’t know how to lie.”

“Eh? Where are they going? Is she not going to talk to us?”

“Hyung, we still have tomorrow. Let’s chill for now. Let’s go to the mall, maybe Wyatt is there and we can get some free stuff from his mall. Hahaha.” and he pulled me out of my seat and dragged me to the parking lot only to ask me to drive for him to the mall.

“Am I your driver, Keith? Huh?”

“Don’t fight with me hyung, I might tell them. About you getting married this weekend.”

Patience please. Give me more patience or I might push him out of my car. Right here. Right now.

“WAAAAAIT.” and pull him to stop him from walking.

“Wae, hyung?”

“Tch. What now? Are we gonna stalk them now?” he asked irritatingly.

“We are not stalking them. We will just see where they’re going. I think she likes this guy.” I said as a matter of fact.

“And you are worried about it. Just admit it, you like her already.” and he looks at me suspiciously.

“No. Again no. We are just here because…” I stopped when I can no longer see Sunny and that guy from the canteen.

“Because?”

“Where are they? Tsk. Because of you being nosy and suspicious we now lost them. Let’s go. Let’s just check if Wyatt is in his office. And I don’t get it why they love staying here at the arcade where there are a lot of people and it is so noisy that you can’t even hear what the person you are talking is saying and I really don’t understand people singing even iff they don’t have a good voice an-”

“And hyung, stop. I don’t even understand why you are mad right now. Is it really because of the place or is it because we lost them? You know what, just admit it. You either like Sunny, or you like Chris.”

“Chris who?”

“The guy Sunny is with. That is her best friend. See, you don’t even know who your opponent is. Tsk. Hyung, I’m telling you. You’ll lose in this battle if you don’t know anything about the other person.”

“Whatever floats in your boat, Mr. Nosy. Let’s go.” and I grab him by the neck and cover his mouth before he starts to blubber nonsense things again about Sunny and that guy.

“Wyatt!!!” Keith shouted as if they haven’t seen each other for years.

‘Keith will always be the cause of my headache. Grrrr.’

“Hyung. What brought you here?” he asked as he gestured for us to sit down.

“His girl brought us here.” Keith said without a pause, and if only looks can kill.

“His girl? You mean, Lianne noona?” Wyatt ask with a puzzled look as he looks between me and Keith asking for an answer.

“No. Not Lianne noona.”

“Ahhh. Anyway, did you know that L-” and I cut him off as I hear my phone ringing.

“I’ll just take this call.” I said and leave the room.

“Hello? What?”

KEITH POV

Hi. I’m Keith Francisco, and I am the cutest guy among us friends. They always say that I am nosy that I always meddle with their business, but in reality I am just trying to help them resolve their issues. Tch.

“Yah, what is it you are saying?” I asked Wyatt, because I think I already know what he is about to say.

“Lianne noona. She’s back. I saw her last time here at the mall with her parents. And I get a chance to talk to her.”

We all know that her parents don't like Pol Andrew hyung for their daughter because they are thinking that he is a slacker and doesn’t care about his future. But they don’t have any idea that Hyung already planned what their future will be but it was ruined by her parents, and also her.

She didn’t even fight for hyung, when hyung fought for her and he even ended his own life.

“What did she say? I don’t even wanna see her or hear anything about her but we need to protect hyung from her.” and Wyatt agreed with me.

“She’s back for good. She said that she will be the one to manage their business. And when I run a report about their business, I found out that they are on the verge of falling. But what shocks me the most is the thought of them investing in Pol Anrew hyung’s family business.” he said and that made me worried.

“Whoooooaaaaa. You mean…”

“Yes. This only means that no matter what we do to stop them from crossing paths again, we can’t. This is destiny’s game and we cannot interfere. We just need to support hyung and guide him in any decision he will make. Besides, I guess it’s the right time to settle whatever they have in the past. Pol Anrew hyung may have not moved on yet but we all know that he is trying and we are helping him. And I believe that there is one girl out there that is meant for him, and will definitely help him recover and heal from the painful past.” Wyatt said, and I agreed.

“Well, you’re right.”

“What is he right about?” shoot.

I looked at Wyatt and he was just looking at me.

“Lianne noona is back, for good. Their business is on the verge of falling. And you agreeing with their investment proposal will be a great help to their family.” Wyatt explained and we get the reaction that we are expecting.

Hyung is just looking at us. Maybe because he can’t believe what he just heard. The girl who left him before is now back like nothing happened? This is crazy.

“Hyung, are you okay?”

“Yes. I’m okay. We are talking about business here. And in my life, everything is about business.” he said in a sad tone.

“Hyung, who called you by the way?” I asked, trying to change the topic.

“Sunny. She said that she saw us. And that it is fine with her to let my friends know about our arranged marriage. And that we are to get married this coming weekend. She said that she will talk to us tomorrow about the upcoming competition.” he explained.

“Sunny? Marriage? What are you talking about?”

“Wyatt, my life is all about business. So, we are getting married because my business will be a great help to their business. Then most probably, in a day or two I will receive a proposal from Lianne about business, because my business can help save their family’s business. In short, everything about me and them is just business. PURELY.BUSINESS.”

“Hyung, is it Sunny Cortez? The youngest and smartest student in the Computer Programming department in the university?”

“Yes. They say. How did you know?”

“I already met her. Remember when we were having problems with the hackers? She was the one sent here because she ranked first not just in the university but during the programming competition when it was her first time joining. I can say that she’s nice but a little naughty on the side. Her name is as bright as her personality. She’s a keeper, I may say.” 

“Whatever. I need to go now. I’ll leave Keith here. I don’t want another noise pollution inside my car. I need to have dinner with my family. Keith, don’t be late tomorrow or I will ask them to give you the hardest task for the competition.” he said before leaving.
