LenoreI woke up in jail again for the second time in as many weeks. This time, however, I'm not exactly sure what the offense is. I know I went to Daniel's apartment. I tried to convince him to let me stay with him. I needed my Daddy. But he's got a new bitch now, and I'm on my own again. I don't like being alone.I don't know what time it is but suspect around seven thirty or eight. I can hear signs that the jail is waking up. Doors are clanging, and the new shift is coming on, the last shift going home. The guards are laughing and greeting each other. Some of my fellow inmates are starting to stir as well. I'm in a cell with two other girls. This is just the county jail, so it doesn't hold as many folks as a prison would. People come and go from here all the time, whether they are released back to society or off to serve a prison term once the court process is over. It's not a comfortable place to be in the slightest.
