Leah’s POV

Time flew by and before I knew it, I was on our bed screaming my lungs out, pushing a watermelon through a hole that wasn’t made for it!! I looked at Emily with wide eyes, thinking this was happening way too fast. I thought we might still have time to get to the hospital. Wasn’t that the way things were meant to work? But noooo! Our son had to start coming out as the elevator went down, so as soon as the doors opened on the ground floor, Emily pressed the button to take us back up. There was no time to wait for the doctor. We had barely made it to bed when I shouted that I needed to push. Sebastian wasn’t even here yet! He was out patrolling the borders with the warriors!

“One last big push, Leah.” Emily looked as though she was feeling my pain as I shook my head.

“NOOOO! I want Sebastian!” I cried.

“This baby isn’t going to wait for

  • Claimed   Chapter 65 - For love or revenge?

Beverly’s POV“Beverly, I have to be honest with you before this goes any further.” I frowned. Great! I misread his signals and now he is going to send me to some forgotten palace where I wouldn’t know anybody and … “I can see the wheels turning in that pretty little head of yours and I can tell you that it’s not what you think.” He smiled, tucking a stray piece of my hair behind my ear before taking my hand and leading me into my bedroom. He closed the door behind us and locked it which kind of scared and excited me at the same time! I was surprised when he walked up to me and slipped his arms around my waist and I felt myself go a little rigid. I’d been disappointed far too many times in my life. I have no idea why I even thought this time things could be different!“I’ve fallen in love with you.” He smiled and I felt my cheeks turn bright red as I gaped at him with wide eyes.“I’m sorry.” I was swallowing air like a damn fish out of the water! “I don’t think I heard you right. • Claimed   Chapter 66 - Time goes by too fast!

Leah’s POVI nearly had a heart attack when Sebastian told me that Nicolas had contacted him and advised him that Beverly was still alive first of all, and secondly, those two were going to get married! I was itching to get all the details since I always felt horrible about leaving her behind with Nathaniel, but Sebastian was being a typical male. He didn’t ask! I couldn’t very well call Beverly up like I would a friend and tell her to dish! I had to just accept that she had hopefully finally found love and peace after what had been done to her.Elana had started to get up and walk about the top floor and I was almost convinced she was teasing her little brother because she could. I had never realized that I could love two people as much as I loved these two children of ours. I still kept a hawk's eye on our son. We had no idea what the hell was going to happen to him. Would he become a vampire or a werewolf or be both like his father? Nicolas had been kind enough to offer their help

  • Claimed   Chapter 67 - The end

Leah’s POV I was speechless! All of the wolves around my son had shifted completely or at least partially and they were in agony, but he was just standing there looking at them. I looked at the moon and prayed to the goddess one last time. She had to help him! She just had to! A tear rolled down the side of my cheek as I looked at the moon coming out from behind the trees. As the last of its rays finally shone down on all of us, our son let out a howl that shuddered the ground. He hit the floor on all fours as his body started to twist in the most uncomfortable ways and bones snapped into their new places. He howled again and the pain he was going through could be felt in it. The pack howled in reply to give him strength as he slowly changed into his new form. He wasn’t entirely a wolf, but he also wasn’t entirely human or a vampire. He stood up on his hind legs and his arms and hands, which were meant to be legs and paws, were still arms and hands, but they were black and covered in

  • Claimed   Prologue - Meeting my second chance mate

Leah’s POVMy life story was nothing new. I was a pack omega. My mother died giving birth to me and my father didn’t want a girl, so I was sent to the pack orphanage. When I turned eighteen, it was revealed that the Alpha was my mate. My heart broke when he rejected me and chose another high-ranked wolf for his mate, but I survived and left the pack grounds for good. I didn’t have any real family there, so there was no reason for me to stay.In the meantime, I found a couple of odd jobs working as a waitress, but they didn’t last very long, as the Alpha kept calling me at work, demanding that I return. Each time I would get fired because my personal life interfered with my work, I would pick up my things, pack up my old car and drive to the next town a little further away from the pack. There I would start over in the hopes that this time things would be different.Today was yet another of my very bad days. I spent most of the night tossing and turning because of nightmares. Eli had r

  • Claimed   Chapter 1 - A new home

Leah’s POV“Hi,” He smiled. My mind was racing a mile a minute, and I almost melted at the sight of his gorgeous dimples! “I’m Sebastian, and you are?” I gaped for a moment. I had completely forgotten my name and must have looked utterly ridiculous in front of this Greek god! How was it even possible that he could be my mate?“Uhm … Leah.” I finally got the words out. I had no idea whether I was frozen in fear or because his eyes turned the most brilliant blue I had ever seen. He had somehow calmed his wolf down enough that it retreated, but mine was purring so much that I almost couldn’t hear anything else.“So, you are my mate?” He took a step back and gave me a once over and I blushed bright red. I had been driving in my incredibly hot car and must have looked simply disgusting!“Thank you moon goddess!” I thought to myself. Of course, I would meet the most incredible man on the day I looked my absolute worst!“Cat got your tongue, honey?” A female voice purred behind him and I sud

  • Claimed   Chapter 2 - Family could be everything

Leah’s POVFor a moment, I wondered how it would feel to see Eli and his precious Jewel while I was standing in the arms of Sebastian, but I quickly wiped that stupid idea from my thoughts as I suddenly started to wonder what kind of pack took in a rogue just like that without any questions. Eli sure as hell wouldn’t have and then take them into the packhouse and show them all the weak spots.“Don’t even think about running.” Sebastian’s voice pierced through my thoughts as he pointed to a man who was walking closer. “This, my lovely little wolf is Carl. He will be your Gamma.” Sebastian smiled broadly as he hugged the man and I frowned. Only Luna’s had Gammas protecting them. Oh, goddess! Was he…? “This is the future Luna, Carl.” FUCK! He did! That was just perfect! He had basically told his Gamma that he had already accepted me, and I rolled my eyes.“She doesn’t seem to agree with you, Sebastian.” Carl laughed and took my hand to greet me, but Sebastian was fast. I mean, supernatur

  • Claimed   Chapter 3 - Differences

Leah’s POVLife in Sebastian’s pack is entirely different than life in Eli’s. For starters, the pack dining tables are packed out in such a way that there is no real division of ranks, whereas, at home, your rank is clearly defined by the table you sit at. The closer you were to the Alpha’s table, the more important you were. Emily showed me to the seat right next to Sebastian, and he held out the chair for me. Nobody had ever held out a chair to me before, which made me blush bright red. I was an omega for goddess’s sake, but I told them I was a rogue. I rolled my eyes internally at myself for being so damn hung up on rank. The food was brought out and everybody dug in all at once, which reminded me of home. There, everybody had to wait for Eli to fill his plate first before anyone else could touch the food. As if there wouldn’t be enough for the Alpha! People were happily talking, eating, and drinking, but I could feel their eyes constantly looking my way. I was sure that most of th

  • Claimed   Chapter 4 - A surprise visitor

Leah’s POVI thought it would be as easy as grabbing my keys and making a run for it, but boy was I mistaken! Not only did Sebastian keep an eagle eye on my damn keys, but Carl kept an eagle eye on my every movement. Over the next couple of days, I spent some time getting to know Sebastian’s family while sussing out how far Carl would go to look after me, and even when I thought I had gotten rid of him, he would pop up out of nowhere! The man was so good at his job, it was damn scary! The only times I didn’t see him was when I was in Sebastian’s care, so to speak. The rest of the time, he was there in the background. Somewhere. I was just starting to feel a little lost when Emily appeared to take me on a shopping trip. Her excuse was that she saw my bag of clothes and “no Luna in her right mind would be caught dead with only one bag of clothes”.To prove her point, she took me to the beta floor, and as we walked into the room, I must have looked like a shell-shocked baboon, gaping at

  • Claimed   Chapter 63 - Finding a family.

Beverley’s POVNicolas didn’t seem so bad, but I didn’t trust anything with fangs or canines or any supernatural strength anymore. They all found a way to lie to you eventually. Even that werewolf girl I met a couple of months ago. She sat there and did nothing while I was dragged off to be killed by Nathaniel! I wondered what the chances were of getting revenge but quickly pushed that idea to the back of my mind. If what happened to Eli was an indication of what happened when you wanted revenge, then I didn’t want any part of it! I thought for a moment of joining Nicolas and his coven, but I would never be able to feel totally at home.“There is one more option.” His voice interrupted my line of thinking. “But I don’t think you will be interested, since it was originally Nathaniel’s pet project. We have, however, found that there is still a need for it.” He fro

  • Claimed   Chapter 62 - Freedom? A new life ...

Beverly’s POVI had been there for a couple of days and the only people I saw were the guard and the girl who brought me food and clothes. I tried asking the guard what they planned on doing with me and who the hell was in charge around here, but he would just shrug and mumble before leaving me locked away in my room again. At night, I could hear whispers in the passages, but I could never make out who it was or what they were saying. I had half expected someone to come in here and interrogate me, but nothing. It was a total communication block and I was slowly losing my mind.I might not be entirely human anymore, but surely, they could allow me out of this room once in a while. They were feeding me so I couldn’t think that they planned on killing me. Whoever the hell they were. I could smell that they were vampires. I’d learned how to tell the difference thanks to the very short time I pretended to like Nathaniel. Yeah

  • Claimed   Chapter 61 - Elana comes home.

Leah’s POVI was so damn excited about bringing Elana home that I felt nauseous the entire time! That combined with my morning sickness made me feel physically green, but I must have hidden it well because, thankfully, nobody asked me if I was okay. We had a picture session at the orphanage as Elana said goodbye to the staff and again as we arrived home. It had been a pretty exciting time just to bring her here, and we walked into the main dining room where the pack was waiting. The food smelled incredible as usual and we made our way around the room introducing everyone to our little girl. She was laughing and my heart sang each time her beautiful laugh rang through the air. It was probably one of the most prized moments of my life. After a little while, Elana started to yawn and I laughed, informing everyone that they were welcome to carry on with the party but that it seemed as though our little guest of honour needed a nap. We t

  • Claimed   Chapter 60 - The final war - Part 2

Sebastian’s POVThanks to the fact that Eli had killed Nathaniel, there was nobody anymore to tell me I couldn’t kill the bastard! I couldn’t focus on my pack around me that was being slaughtered by the hybrids. My focus was on Eli, and killing him! If I understood the sire line correctly, as soon as he died, his entire line would die with him! Thanks to his brilliant plan to make them all hybrids! I groaned as he pulled out a chunk of my hair and I turned as fast as I could to face him again. When I noticed he was distracted, I attacked again and this time I tasted blood. It looked as though the arrival of the vampires didn’t change a thing in his mind! He probably thought his pack was strong enough to take on all of us! As he sprinted forward again, all I thought about was that he was the one I wanted to rip to shreds! Bodies were falling all around us as we continued to rip into each other, staining both our coa

  • Claimed   Chapter 59 - The final war - Part 1

Eli’s POVI waited until I was sure all my people were in the great hall before I walked in. As I took my place at the podium, I stood looking at all of them.“For years now, we’ve had to take whatever our neighbours dished our way. Alpha Sebastian even stole my mate and claimed her as his own when he found out that she was my destined mate.” I knew the stories had been circling around the pack so it wouldn’t be news to any of them to find out that Leah was mine! “Then, he sent someone to kill our Luna!” I could feel the anger building up in the room and I knew that last statement was going to be enough to get everyone on my side. Even the people who would normally vote against a war wouldn’t be able to do it this time, since our Luna was killed by Sebastian. I didn’t need proof of this. I knew they would believe me because of what I was about to tell them. “When I wouldn’t give him our entire territory, he had me kidnapped.” I pretended to be unable to look at them, but I was slowly
