Chapter 73: Hating the Alpha

Margarette's POV

I woke up with a headache. I winced in pain and even massage my temples because of how painful my head is. When I feel better, I tried to roam my eyes through the place I get in until my mouth fall open in shock.

“W-where am I?” I asked and get up from the bed. The place I get in wasn't familiar to me. However, this place looked so elegant and I couldn't feel danger.

“Margarette, glad to know that you're awake,” I turn my gaze to the man who suddenly speaks when he opened the room. And my jaw dropped upon seeing the man in front of me.

“Alpha Hayden?” I asked and he nods his head. My hands squeeze into fists when I remember Kayden, his brother while my heart was in deep pain. I was expecting Kayden to follow me and tell me that he doesn't want me to be away from him. However, it's the opposite. Kayden didn't want me back in his life. He judged me and that's the painful experience I had in life.
