Thirty Three.

It had been days since I last saw her.

Not hearing her or seeing those baby blue orbs was leaving a hole in my heart.

I had my men search the forest for her. They found some lingering humans and took them as hostages, but none of them seemed to know what we were talking about. Or who Elsa was.

Why hadn’t she come back? What had she gotten herself into?

“You need to stop beating yourself up.” Mason mutters

“Are you serious?” Lola snaps back. “It’s his fault she’s gone.”

“Where would she go? It’s not like she has a safe place to go.” Mason shrugs his shoulders.

“What if she was kidnapped? You said her mother came here. What did she want?” Lola demands.

“She didn’t want anything.” I growl through gritted teeth. "Other than to tell me that Finn would come for her one day. Do you think she went to him?”

They look at each other with wide eyes but don’t speak.

“Someone say something.” I mutter

“She wouldn’t. She doesn’t like him.” Lola gives me a weak smile. "But maybe….”

“Maybe what?”
