Elsa

He seemed to have thought of everything. There was no way I could win. Whatever he had planned, he had also played out different scenarios. Ensuring his plan would succeed. I felt like I was drowning in failed ideas.

“I don’t know.” I whisper. My eyes were on the man, bleeding out at the table.

“He told you there were others in my pack.” He points up to the camera. "I heard him."

“He didn’t say who.”

“I want names, Elsa.”

I turn my head, just a little to focus on his yellow eyes. “He didn’t say any names. He knew it would be too risky.” I swallow the lump forming in my throat. “He knew that I couldn’t be saved.”

“Who?”

“He didn’t tell me a name.”

“Yes, he did. He told you that Vella was working on a plan.”

“Vella?” I had forgotten that. I let out a snort. “How is Vella going to help me?”

He kicks Jace’s body out of the chair. Jace crumples to the ground with a sickening thud. Finn takes the seat, unphased by the pool of blood on the wooden table and chair.

“You tell me.”
